We were there to celebrate our anniversary, the day we were there was rainy so we couldn’t be seated outdoor as we requested. The service was fine but when we made the booking, they asked what was the occasion and we told them it was for our anniversary, so naturally I would expect some sort of surprise , but nothing happened and not even mentioned about our occasion, so what was the point of asking? I’ve been to Maka Hiki several times and on different occasions too. One of the reasons that we kept coming back is the chill and cool environment as well as the nicely decorated pet-friendly terrace there. The food there are unique and delicious, throughout those experiences that I was there, my favourite dish is the tuna poke and the coconut indo fried chicken, best to side with the snake beans.My boyfriend’s favourite : We also had very juicy Lombok baby chicken,, slow cooked pork ribs and ribeye there before (not enough space for all the pics) They were all tasted amazing. Oh also can’t miss the very refreshing seafood salad!!About drinks, their cocktails are pretty and yummy, I usually start with a glass of their signature cocktails then I go for wine or Prosecco for the rest of the evening.Finishing the night with a satisfying dessert such as coconut ice cream.We’ve also had our last Boxing Day in Maka Hiki, it was a special event which was a blast, they had special occasions brunches or dinners (we’ve been there for Christmas Eve and boxing day)/family friendly Sunday brunch with free face painting for kids/ Wednesday oyster nights etc. I never feel bored with their menu, that’s why we kept coming back! If you do not like to going to places that will crowd you out and want a change of vibe to make you feel that you are away in the tropical, I will recommend to give Maka Hiki a try! I have been practicing a ketogenic diet for quite some time, and I was so excited when I found this little gem on delieveryoo, I didn’t plan on writing a review so I didn’t take any photos of the food, but the food was delicious and were all exactly what we keto people eat everyday. It might be a little hard to understand the food if u r not in keto but trust me nothing can go wrong with chicken, cheese and broccoli!! A little pricey but eating a ketogenic diet is never cheap. 這位某人認識了快一年，大概是我這年重生以來認識過最糟的人，滿口謊言，不過壞男人總是吸引？他總是駕著車四處去，所以從來沒跟他喝過酒，這晚其實他也有開車，所以也只喝了一點點。約他6時結果說從旺角塞了一小時車才來到，我自己一人坐著就先點了MojitoMojito 一般我也是喝走甜的。這裡的夜景, 一個人坐著其實也是滿寫意的。他來到了，點了些小吃, 這裡本來樓下就是吃四川菜的餐廳，所以食物質素是不錯的。醉雞夠醉。炸豆腐粒忘記拍照。。。。點了另一杯mojito 後想來杯cocktail， 店員介紹這杯茅台cocktail 味道不錯也值得一試。喝了幾杯，聊了四小時多直到關門，滿有酒意結果能跟他第一次坦坦白白地說我知道的一切。這倒是我沒想過的。…查看更多

認識三個月來第四次的約會。他總是因工作四處飛，這天他約我gym後去喝酒，第一家是灣仔附近的酒吧，我是覺得沒什麼特別，所以不說了，然沒我們轉場來到這裡。這家在我公司對面的酒吧，經過無數次但從來沒想過走進去，灣仔的酒吧嘛，對我來說很雜，但原來這家很有特式，音樂表演者會自行安排在這表演。這些都是歷史。第一round 他點的是這啤酒，原來是brewer 是在南丫島，只有在這裡賣，我試了一口，很frizzy, 也很好喝，但他就是覺得太frizzy 了。以我點的是這紅紅的rosé, 很好看，但就是太甜，不太是我的口味。因為要看live band 所以，我坐到他的旁邊去。表演者都是用心唱歌玩音樂的，有來自本地，外國，最特別是最後看的一隊日本人。臨走前的一round 還是來杯穩穩的Prosecco 吧!跑了兩家，酒喝多了，熱情也就自然增多，夜深了，走吧!…查看更多

約了一位來自瑞典的他，到香港幾年了竟然沒吃過火鍋，他也是另一位愛吃辣的，那於是選了這家在他家附近的火鍋店。火鍋湯底，還是選鴛鴦鍋吧，因為怕我吃不了太辣。牛肉，豬肉也沒點最貴價的，但還是很不錯，他每款吃完了也再加點了一次，丸類我覺得就是普通的丸。一向喜歡響鈴的我，看到即炸響鈴馬上心動，原來可直接點甜酸醬吃，不用放進火鍋。最後，甜品是送的，杯子很別緻，想著是什麼沙冰，吃了覺得是腐竹糖水沙冰。付款是打算跟他一半的，但他說前一天是我的生日，那就讓他請客，看了一下單。。我嚇了一跳。。。沒吃過這麼貴的火鍋。。。。…查看更多

這天，下午跟某人到九龍灣某學校當助手，回到家裡梳洗後準備出門，因為約了他跑步去，誰知他的腳傷沒好，不跑步那就去吃飯。於是，我們在銅鑼灣Sogo 門口見面, 一整個月他也一直在飛沒見過面, 一來到他就把我整個在人潮中抱起, 親了一親問我要吃什麼, 我也沒什麼意見, 於是他拉著我到對面金百利利, 7點半這時走進電梯門門是人, 他擁著我開始說這個月以來做了些什麼。到了四樓我們走進這家,人雖然多但也不用等位, 侍應姐姐好像很好奇因為金髮的他跟他用廣東話說:「兩位」。原來因為他工司就在附近所以常來,那點餐就讓他做決定。他知道我吃不了太辣,所以都點少辣。他只點了兩樣。來的第一度菜, 原來超大的, 看著滿滿的辣椒, 我也不知吃得來嗎, 辣椒裡面藏著的是魚，吃了一口，喔，也是可接受的辣度，很香麻辣，很好吃。第二度也是大大的一碟，也是滿滿的辣椒，難怪這裡叫chilli party. 雞肉都是小小的一塊，最愛還是茄子。兩碟菜兩個人吃已經很飽，吃完走路回到灣仔帶他的小狗去散步剛好。不過沒想到的是，其實我覺得這家有點小貴。…查看更多

其實也不是什麼約會晚飯，跟他的約會本來就是行山，行了6小時，從屯門坐巴士回到灣仔，快餓死我了，馬上回到他家梳洗後就在附近吃個晚飯，由在這附近工作，其實也常來這吃飯，不過跟他來吃就是不一樣。當然最愛青咖啡，配的一定要是薄餅。沙嗲也不能少吧!這是我在這地球上最愛喝的飲品，椰青沙冰的甜度剛好。他就點了個啤酒。然後就是不能不吃的生菜包，來自蘇格蘭的他竟是個超愛辣的人，也許是四處居住，一年因工作飛七十多次的緣故吧，而這辣他也覺得很惹味。這家也許永遠是不會讓我失望的。…查看更多
