Made an appointment at 12noon and we were allowed to go in at 11:50. The lunch session eventually went a full house before 1pm. The buffet was until 2:30pm so we had plenty of time to savor the meal 🍽️ .I tried to film everything I ate in the reel. What I love is that they offer American oysters and Peking wrapped duck, which are quite rare for a buffet lunch. The first round of oysters were fair, quite thin indeed, but the second round I had were much better. I guess it’s all about luck🍀 And they offer each person 3 oysters each time. Two staffs open them in front of you, overall they are quite generous and it’s a nice experience..I went for Peking wrapped duck session when there was not a line. Quality was quite good, the meat slice is a great balance of skin, fat and meat! Well worth the money 💰 .The biggest surprise for the meal was the freshly made Pandan waffle with ice cream at your choice. The waffle was so good I had to encore it 🥹 So crispy at the outside and so moisturized and soft soaked with pandan favour at the inside🧇 it had everything about a great waffle. Ice cream were from Häagen-Dazs, I had two scoops of different flavors to come with my waffle.Besides, the nuts tart was really good and nutritious too. I’d say overall I’m not disappointed with the desserts..Since I was taking my parents there and they don’t eat anything raw, they tried the Hong Kong style noodle booth and said it was good too. .Looking forward to explore more family friendly places next time! 🇭🇰 Bambino Wine Bar 📍45 Peel Street, Central💰hkd $300 per head A beautiful wine bar and restaurant located in peel street, it serves French/ Italian dishes with a good selection of wines. To my surprise, not only are the wine good, the food are extraordinary. We got Spinach fritters and Ricotta with Anchovy aioli ($110) to share, it’s like the cheese balls which are stuffed with spinach, came super delicious with the anchovy sauce. We also ordered the angus meat and potatoes ($250). The meat was cooked medium rare, perfect texture. Love that it comes with smashed potatoes and stirred fried Brussels sprouts on side. For wines, we ordered two French recommended by the waiter. They were $90 per glass or $370 per bottle. Came here for dinner before heading to the teamlab exhibition. At 7pm we do not have to wait to get a walk in table.Ordered a cheese pizza and a meat lover one. I love the cheese pizza and the dough was done well. Very cheesy indeed.Happy hour last until 8pm so you can order a wine at nice price to enjoy with the pizza. I had the best cinnamon roll ever🍯🤤 .📍Cinnabon @ Airside Kai Tak 💰$48 for a classic cinnamon roll Paid a first visit to Airside Kai Tak and it was an amazing and eye opening experience 🤩 so many food choices from from the entrance to the top floor. It’s so convenient too can literally walk right in the mall through exit C in the MTR station..It’s been so long I haven’t eaten a proper cinnamon roll. It’s not your typical cinnamon roll from your regular coffee shop.
