This is my first time to try a Korean-themed afternoon tea. It is called “The Best of Me” which is the connotation of abeles beauty in mind. What impressed me the most is the Kimchi Cheese Cracker and the Foie Gras Terrine Crostini with Jenny Mandarin Coulis. I also received an exclusive gift of a Sulwhasoo Rescue Ampoules. The restaurant is located in the Tai Kwun heritage compound which spans across the entire 3rd floor of the old police headquarters. The open air surrounds makes the place so comfortable. The place is on the corner of Third Street and Eastern Street where it is not very big. It may not suitable for a group of people eating. But I was impressed by the place’s authenticity and the tasty food and service. I love the decoration, colorful hats and unique vibes. It is easy to find a lot of cool colorful things like the glasses, the chairs...Good quality considering its cost and tasty food served in no time. Second Draft is located in Tai Hang which is a combination of local flavors and western cuisine. I love the decoration, old world charm and unique vibes. I like what is called east-meets-west. A cuisine which is not just Chinese, nor western nor a straight fusion of the two. Rather, it is a kind of cuisine which most local people are comfortable with and could associated with. A huge board of beers attracts lots of attention when I came in. Special brunch menu was available on weekends. French fries were a good choice. They were crispy and seasoned with cumin and some other spices I never would thought to season French fries with but tasted good. Chicken sandwich was just normal. I’m searching for Spanish restaurant with not only a great atmosphere but good food. Plaza Mayor is hidden away in a back street in Wan Chai. It is said that Plaza Mayor means “Main Square”. Last Saturday I had dinner with friends. NEVER DISAPPOINTED. Kind and generous owner and staff. Good tastes with happy Saturday environment. I feel like traveling. I almost forget I’m in Hong Kong not just because of the decoration but the menu, the service style and general casual feeling. The open air surrounds made the tiny place seem comfortable. Chilling with friends outside is a great idea where is a huge place for social gathering. For staters, we opted for a selection of tapa: Garlic Prawns, Pardon peppers, Chorizo, Meatballs, Patacas Bravas, Scallops with Ham....For mains, we shared Paella Seafood and the Chicken paella, which were perfectly cooked and excellent!!! It’s a good weekend lunch option and it is a bright and welcoming restaurant located in Wanchai. Good taste. Reasonable cost. Nice homely ambience. It’s also good for friends to catch up. Excellent service and attitude of the staff. It’s said that the menu focuses on the Saigonese culture of grilling. DIY rice paper rolls is a good try. We had slow-cooked beef one. Recommend by one friend, it’s a great option to go. It is a cost restaurant and bar located in Central which is a good restaurant with vegan options, good gluten-free menus and tasty foods for everyone. Me and my boyfriend decided to have late lunch at the counter. A busy restaurant, modern decoration and clean. Food was great. Rack of Lamb is a must try. Twice a week at the same restaurant :-) One was on Monday, one Friday. We had late lunch with good discounts. The location is very convenient. The place is clean and cozy. V Walk is a new shopping mall recently. This restaurant offers mainly Vietnamese food. I am so glad we walked in after movie there. It's not hard to get a table. Good place to catch up with friends. We came here for lunch. The location is very convenient and had many people there. The restaurant is suited for young people gathering. Service was acceptable. Their chicken can pick bone or boneless,if you want to convenient to eating, you can eat boneless chicken. But in my opinion, eating boneless is funny. The food well one plate can feed two people. We chose 韓式甜辣炸雞 and 蒜香醬油炸雞. The two types of chicken we had were quite good. But I am fans for sweet chili sauce and like their taste. Food was nice but not outstanding. Best Mexican restaurant in HK. Vibrant atmosphere with amazing service, a spacious room with high ceiling, with a high bar table set at the centre. We didn’t book in advance to have a seat. So we sat in the bar area. Love bar in the back, separating the well-stocked bar and the small tables. The atmosphere and drinks are great. Tacos were fantastic, especially fish tacos(Baja Fish)!! Stopped in for dinner with several friends this Wednesday. Excellent eating experience. It has bar and dinning room seating. Food was very nice and reasonable priced(50% off discount). Meal was served hot and good taste. Server was very friendly and helpful, who were efficient with cleaning up the empty plates so more can come. We tried Three Duck Rice, Grilled Octopus, Empanadas, Chilean Ceviche....forgot names of some dishes. Salad is just okay...Others are quite good! Anyway, I prefer eating here.
