While part of the shops in OC 3 are not opened yet, you can see Maxim's Hong Kong Day is opening and it gives spirits to the shopping mall as the restaurant is filled with customers and some people need to queue up outside the restaurant.The place is fairly tidy but the table is a bit too small for four seats.I got a breakfast and there are too few choices for breakfast. The price of each is a bit higher than ordinary ones.I tried "Curry beef with instant noodle"(hope you understand what I mean) and bread, sausage and scrambled eggs.$25 for this set with drink.For Curry beef with instant noodle, the curry beef does not taste good--i mean the source is not rich enough and there's a bit of peanut granules within beef(which is different and fine to me) . If curry beef is not rich in flavor, that doesn't sounds like a good one,right? :)Instant noodle is too typical-- too "hard" to eat.The bread is quite thick but it is one piece so it is a bit weird that the butter is just directly smeared on the top of the bread....Sausage is fine....The scrambled eggs is the problem-- the size is too small and too wetI think this breakfast is a bit expensive for me and I think there are better curry beef alternatives nearby.One point to note is that the dishes and bowls are nice So the food is not good but the environment looks better and "brighter" than its counterparts so you may have a try to this restaurant.…查看更多

點心款式較少(compare with its neighbor 稻香) ,待應都幾快手,茶錢$8位就略貴.名苑的蝦餃好好食,蝦餃皮厚度適中,有唔少蝦.燒賣味道唔錯,但燒賣係特點($ 26.8)就太貴la,燒賣係好basic的點心，通常飲茶都會叫,特點會令我有點卻步錦鹵雲吞OK,幾熱,不過佢的五柳汁令我覺得隻雲吞好難點D汁蘿蔔榚太差了,太散了包類麻麻,菜肉包唔似平日的版本埋單少過$200是不可簽咭的補充一句,小點至特點的價錢大約是$14-27…查看更多

剛剛食完 cheese pizza, 在現時百物騰貴的情況下，食pizza一D都幾貴:(...之前一食pizza就要食pizza hut.... 又貴又肥膩.....之前睇openrice (的介紹?) 和食評，cheese pizza應該唔錯...今日試o下 依間芝脆雞, $120= 一個大批+小食+兩件雞+ pepsi ×2係pizza hut 食以上的食物都唔止依個價錢...不過，除o左食物物量之外,食物質素都好重要!!落order時 staff同我講要 1-1.5 hourpizza around 60 mins 就送到~OK wor我們叫了一個"啖啖肉"pizza,想"羅" slices 之前係pizza底見到一把膠刀 因為個pizza"介"得唔好 = ="個pizza 底 幾濕，乾D會好D :) 我覺得 pizza可以多少少 saucepizza好足料!at least多過pizza hut !最重要是個pizza不油膩! pizza hut 的pizza 太油了 小食方面，叫o左一個小食拼盤，份量 OK ge,但係味道不太特別，雞翼味道OK我想強調佢地的炸雞,D炸雞幾大舊，脆皮濕o左少少，但係味道唔錯，雞肉幾滑，但因為size大所以雞肉不算太入味，整體黎講佢地的炸雞好過KFC...送外賣的staff 幾nice!!!我覺得整體都OK,不過佢地可以係 pizza 味道方面改良，and 小食多下功夫!…查看更多

Recently I still keep searching for old Hong Kong....anyway Today I went to this restaurant,frankly speaking, I don't think youngsters or city dwellers are interested if they pass through this restaurant, but since my parents visited there several times and they brought me some take-away, and I knew that the food tastes good--excellent when compared to ordinary chinese restaurant.....but if this restaurant renew their places and have some propaganda, I'm sure more ppl will come as it locates near centre of MK...sorry for saying sth off-topic... basically we ordered:1. (orginal)siu mai2. siu mai with quail egg3. BBQed prok rice roll4. spring roll5.streamed BBQed bun6. beef siu maiI recommend beef siu mai, in HK ,many chinese restaurants offer beef siu mai but the beef texture is not "good", but the beef siu mai can give some beef in good texture.....I don't know how to describe...the orignial siu mai is not like the ordinary one, and I believe that version should be an old version, also for the spring roll is not like the ordinally one, but the spring roll provided is very very limited...streamed BBQed bun is fine, and it has a lot of fillings( BBQed pork) inside,so it's worth to have a try!Besides, siu mai with quail egg is rare in HK now , so this is good for you to have a taste of old style dim sumthe hygiene is not bad, but the place is quite old, I mean the faccilitates and the decoration are very old... if you would like to know how chinese restaurant few decades ago looks like , have a chinese tea over there. :)…查看更多

My parents told me we went there frequently for dinner when I was just a kid, so this time we go to this restaurant and 懷舊.Since I didn't have a look on the comments here, so I didn't order 梅菜扣肉...So we ordered sth that we would order in a ordinary restaurant....楊洲炒飯 , 咭嚕肉,粟米魚塊,湯and 雞To be frank the tastes of all dishes are standard, but 咭嚕肉 is not "salty"enough while the soup is a bit too salty...and 粟米魚塊 is not that excellent , and the chicken is OKbut I'd point out that the 楊洲炒飯 is excellent! Recent years I've been visited some many Chinese restaurant for a good 楊洲炒飯 which is very basic dishes,but sadly, no one gives me a satisfactory one. But in this restaurant, their 楊洲炒飯 tastes like what it should be-- the taste that seldom appears in restaurants nowadays.I recommend this.Of course they can cook this better,but it's worth to have a try.The restaurant must be decorated, and their hygiene is fine ,but it doesn't look like when it was when I was just a kid...…查看更多
