Food: We bought a voucher $98 per person for supposed cheese fondue buffet.  The cheese tasted awful, was non-cheese taste with lumpy flour bits:(. can't believe they can serve non-human food to people. The dipping condiment selection were all pre-boiled veg / meat and tasted awful, very bland and disgusting. I have never tasted something so awful in my life Envint= The restaurant was very tacky, peeling mouldy walls, stinks, the kitchen looked dirty, and awful waiters / waitresses who just dump things in front of you. Cost - over chargedI can't believe they had the guts to charge the original service charge of $24! So we brought a Groupon voucher for 2 with restriction for M-F use after 15:00.On arrival there were already a few tables having afternoon tea.We were offered choice of tea / coffee, unfortunately they did not do decaf which was a surprise at a 4 star hotel. Had Earl grey in the end which was delicately flavoured served in a silk tea bag - so good quality, but no offered refill.The food came relatively quickly, we were asked what flavour ice-cream we would like at the end. Vanilla / choc / Strawberry Movenpick.I could only eat the egg sandwich from the savory section which was tasty, bread soft. The parma ham and pate were served on toasted brown bread squares and were ok.They had forgot to bring us the jam and cream - again not proper clotted cream but the vanilla light stuff, and no butter. The scones were not warmed though.The milk panna cotta was good, the black forest gatteau was ok mousse cake, don't like walnut so can't comment on it.We tucked in about 1.5hrs in the warm sunshine surrounds, for the cost can't complain given we didn't even need to give tips on top!…查看更多

3 of us had the dinner set menu, this is no steak expert! The waitresses were trainees or something, had no brainer when serving you meals as to who ordered what, just dumped the food on the table randomly, why bother asking then?!?! The restaurant was tacky, not enough ventilation when pouring the sauce onto the iron plates, showing no care or warning before doing so.The courses came so fast. we hardly had time to digest, the restaurant wasn't even 1/2 full.Escargot no shell as stated but looked shrivelled over cooked.The soup standard stuff.Ordered the US sirloin on iron grill, was quite tough and the garlic sauce v thick and gooey way too much sauce which spoilt the minute of chips and vege on the plate. :( The fillet steak surf and turf consisted of 1 meagre tiny shrimp on top of the steak Dessert was blueberry / mango cheesecake, prob the best dish of all but even then it's average as the base was sponge rather than biscuit.The dinner drinks again was awful, coffee tasted syrupy, my chocolate was bland and syrupy they had to guts to charge an extra $5 for my chocolate!?! On going to the toilet, the kitchen looked a real mess!! Monday table for 9 at 20.00 2 hr turn around time, had arrived early and table was ready for us. The place was jam packed. We were lucky to get an exclusive square cart table, again no cushions on cart seats just to make it uncomfortable, but the main seats had cushions! Help yourself to drinks which were not cold as they were continuously replaced in the fridge. Started ordering 15 mins in and initial food came a bit slow but speed up with the courses. They did mix up our orders a little as some food came late or in fewer portions. 10 pages of mini lists. Cannot comment on the sashimi platter as I didn't eat. The eel was average, the ocean variant no doubt.   The Udon was tasty as was the beef rib and lamb chops. We went at 13.15 just before the queue started and managed to get a cart-seating in the inner most corner of the restaurant where the A/C was good. Seats were hard but with added cushion was better. They did tell us there was a 2 hour turn around table time at the start. The decor was v. Taiwanese / travel orientated, relatively spacious.We ordered from the lunch menu first with a soup starter additional $15. Mains were smallish portions $50-60 each. We had decided we wanted to try the afternoon tea sets which were available from 14.15 as well, so we did not take a drink with the lunch set. We had the chicken baked rice - average Udon - at least the frozen fresh stuffSpegetti - averageThe afternoon tea was the high light!The mini platter was tasty with chunky chips, proper spuds!:)The volavent with crab salad filling and the strawberry complemented each other perfectly.The waffles with ice-cream soft and delicious.The drinks were v nice too, the only thing was they didn't do decaf teas / coffees :(Mint chocolate recommended. Managed to book quite last minute for 2 ppl and was told had to walk 30m to the buffet counter. Buffet starts 18.30-21.30, so was there prompt. Table for 3, only snag you have to all be present before they will sit you at a table, as this is a popular restaurant, and won't take reservations, first come first serve basis. Even though they only open at 18:30 for dinner, the harbour view tables were already filled on our arrival at 18:40. The menu was interestingly laid out, more like a magazine brouchure, which was great as it really highlighted what looked appetising on the photos and had many such display which aided our selection. Booked room with min spend $2500 for 2 hours max; table for 11, was meant to be for 10 ppl so a little cramp, with extra at the head end. They did allow us to decorate the room with blue tac for the birthday celeb which was good. The long table had 2 stoves, with 1 end against the wall.We ordered a set menu for 8ppl $2200 which really didn't have too much - 4 beef ribs, 2 sirloin beef, 2 prawns, 2 scallops, 1 pork belly, 1 rice cake, 1 pancake, 2 portions of lettuce leaf.Added - seafood noodle hot pot, salted pork leg.The appetisers were nothing special, had to order extra lettuce leaf charged $45! Just drank tea.Total spend $3500.Because the room was so cramp, we had to do our own cooking, the ventilation system was not adequate even though we had an A/C system to ourselves. We were allowed free cake cutting. They did however, let us stay OT for nearly 3 hrs till the restaurant closed and we were ushered the bill.…查看更多

Went to Cafe 103 at Ritz Carlton ICC 2 years ago and the quantity of food available for lunch buffet has improved. We arrived promtly at 12:00 but found the place to be quite full already, guess it must have started 11:30? We had a nice table next to the dessert / Thai counter big enough for 4 ppl overlooking Tosca below and TST / Central beyond. 1) Starter - salads fresh, pre-made Thai style x3 and Caesar pick yr ownCold meat - 3-4 types incl Parma ham and smoke fish x2Cold Seafood - didn't try but had alaskan crab leg, prawns, mantis, muscles and some sashimi.Cold soba noodles2) Main - Thai influenced, good variety various curries, enjoyed the duck, chicken, spring rolls, 2 dim sums - siu mai. Don't think there was pad thai, but had a soup noodle station which was good.The only negative was the soup which was too spicy, tom yum that didn't taste like freshly made.3) Dessert - best of all, a lot of fresh fruit, cakes - chocolate is the high-light, lots of mousses, truffles, a few dried biscuits. no macaroons though! …查看更多

We queued for 30 mins for a table of 3 on a weekday outside the sweltering heat, only to be told that we had to share a table for 6 ppl as there was no seats. Thinking the reviews were all positive so far and the queue this place must be worth it. So wrong we were!!  The table was small and cramp by the till and entrance, air con under powered so sweat as we eat! Ordered 5 things: 1) bimbimbap raw beef, but came mince beef mostly cooked, vege not fresh.2) seafood cheese rice cake hot pot - way too much cheese like it was so thick, the sea food minimal, rice cake plain3) Beef - the most disappointing! Ready cooked in the kitchen, we went for ribeye, quality poor. :(4) Pork - fatty and tasteless5) Mince pork Jar jeung korean noodles - was hoping it was not out of a packet - so wrong!! the noodles was instant ones and the sauce under salted.Set us back $660 after 45 mins as the queue was building up outside.What an awful experience.
