If you're looking for a place that looks and feels expensive but doesn't want to spend too much, this is the place. The food portion is too small for me but the presentation is plus A. Their small menu will help you choose quickly. I always like the atmosphere at the Peninsula and dining at this restaurant and knowing the history of the building and the hotel itself makes me feel like I'm part of that history. Perfect steak, warm atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff. We had a Birthday lunch for my daughter and made her day extra special. Printed her name on the top of their menu and a group photo card signed by the staff, how sweet is that!!! On the way to the mtr we saw this restaurant and thought why not have an early dinner before going home. Since we’re not that hungry we ordered 2 dishes to share. We love potato dumpling so we ordered their potato cheese dumpling with meat balls and a snack platter. Disappointed. Wrong choice. The dumpling looks and texture was disgusting. The frozen meat balls from super market is a lot better. I’m not sure how much meat is in their meatballs. Snack platter was ok. I don’t suggest to try it. The restaurant has outdoor sitting and huge space inside. We sat close to the door. Every time customer come in they yelled some greetings but I don’t understand what they are saying (maybe in German). A lot of empty tables, I guessed because we were there too early for dinner. It’s a small diner. Friendly and has this very warm atmosphere. A good place to hang out with friends where you could have comfort food. So many varieties of burgers you could choose from. Although I didn’t had burger I could tell from other customers that it’s delicious. I wasn’t that hungry when I visited this place. I just want something small. Unfortunately I was too late for their tea time set meal. They stop serving tea time meal after 6pm. I had the 10 pieces chicken wings and an ice lemon tea. Spacious and clean. Good choices of set meal. Whole day set and tea time set is available just depends of what you like to eat. We had pho noodles with beef brisket, it’s has 3 slices of thin cut beef. It was ok. I had a better Pho noodles at other Vietnamese restaurant in the city. We also had beef skewer. No toilet inside the restaurant. You have to use the buildings public toilet. The servers speak limited English. Be patient and don’t feel like they’re passing you around from one server to another. Few tables but they have this looks like a sushi bar and they’re not using it. Easy to find and very close to MTR. We were there on Friday night and they’re few available tables. Make a reservation for a sure table. We greeted with a friendly smile as we got out from the elevator. Just be careful when you get out or in the elevator there’s a bump that you might miss. Some staff can’t understand English very well but they did their best to served us.Food was delicious! The best wagyu beef slice I ever! Toilet is outside and it’s a shared toilet with other tenants so don’t expect it’s clean. 2 of our orders were out of stocked, portobello mushrooms and the mango milk pudding. I booked through OpenRice and got there early than I expected. The place was already busy and I like to sit downstairs. It has 2 levels, the ground floor is open area with bar and where the band is. Tables is a bit close to each other. Upstairs is more relax dinner date kinda atmosphere, quite and a bit proper dinning. There’s no direct access to the toilet. You have to go out at the back door and take the escalator upstairs. Not too far. I sat by the bar and ordered a drink while waiting for my friend. They have a nice happy hour drinks but I missed it. When my friend finally arrived we decided to just stay and have our meal at the bar. The band started playing at about 9pm. Service was good as we can always get the attention of the people behind the bar. They took our order and set out dinnerwares. My friend had the salmon and I ordered burger medium. I wasn’t happy with my burger. It’s supposed to be pink and the middle but my burger was bloody and bun was burnt inside, the top side was not toasted. I only managed to eat half. The salmon was ok. Nice place to hang around. You can dine and play bowling at the same time. You can never get bored in this place. Big bar and long outside patio where you can eat and drink. They have small band playing next to the bar . Tables inside is available if you like less amusement activity. They have a private room if you want to have a party. You don’t need to order a meal if you just want to do bowling. Food is average. They have beer buffet where you can drink any beer you want and as much as you want. There you go beer drinkers! When we got in the restaurant we weren’t sure if we want to play bowling so we settle at the table next to the bowling alley. Place is spacious for a caffe. Located few steps from the mtr. When we got there it was very quite but become busy very quickly. We came during lunch time. Small menu but they have daily specials. Coffee served with milk already in it. Drinks came fast followed by our food in few minutes. I had carbonara it was bland. Steak was good according to my Daugther. It was my daughter’s birthday and she likes buffet because of many varieties of food that she can eat. It was really nice that we don’t need to travel to Kowloon or Hong Kong island to have a nice international buffet. Waiters and hostess are very nice. The standard of hospitality was visible. Thumbs up to all the waiters and servers. Sashimi were good but not many choices for sushi. The roast duck doesn’t taste good and roast beef was dry. My husband and I had our Valentine dinner at Zuma. It was a nice experience. We arrived early for our booked time but weren’t in a hurry. We stayed at the bar until our table was ready. We each had 1 drink, wine for my hubby and a cocktail for me. It was a nice calm start before our dinner.We had the restaurant’s Valentines Day Special menu. We had my birthday dinner with my family. Food menu is simple and goes well with any wine you want to to drink. The latest lightning and whole ambience is romantic with beautiful view of hk island. Amazing chandeliers and exquisite collection of wine wows me. Staff are very friendly. They don’t bother you when you’re savoring your meal. They know exactly when you need them. Yes price is reasonable but if your food is tasteless and service is horrible I don’t think it’s reasonable at all. It’s our first time to eat at this place. Late lunch and we want to just have something to eat. We saw the place, small and had 2 people eating inside so why not. We sat right next to their kitchen. Waitress gave us the menu that looks like have not clean for ages and pages are not in tack together. I feel bad for the next costumer that will use it so I fixed it. She stood between us and the kitchen carried a conversation with her colleagues who is inside the kitchen. Instead of giving any food recommendations. They don’t have 2 of the food that we ordered. We ordered 2 short ribs, dumpling, potato wedges beef bim bim bap. Potato wedges tastes like they’ve been using a re-used oil for too long. Dumpling, I’m speechless, don’t order it. It is indeed a home of the famous chicken joy fried chicken. Crunchy outside and juicy inside. Let me share my dinning experience at this branch. Very busy! Long line only 3 counters are open.
