I have read the comment about the poor air-conditioning. So before i went in, I asked the tall Asian guy at the door if the air-con was working. He said OK.After sitting there for a few minutes, my wife and I were sweating already!!! it was hot like crazy! I asked the manager if there was anything wrong with the air- con, he said YES! I was really mad and complained to him his staff was being dishonest. He did not apologize but kept explaining to me how their air con system failed to work and so on. The food was OK only. The chicken breast was too dry. the accompanied mustroom sauce was bland. the pizza is not as good as the one in PICCOLO (few blocks away). The music was too loud and noisy.will NEVER go back…查看更多

The food is quite good but the service is terrible!!!(1) 訂台無禮I requested a table near window. The staff kept saying there were no window seats in their restaurant. She even said this is 翠園 on the 8/F (very rude tone!!). I told her I wanted to sit nearby the glass window where i can see the platform of the mall. Then she finally said the area was booked becoz of the wedding banquet! (2) 帶位很串when i reached there, I was given a table near the exit. I said I wanted to change. 高高的帶位小姐很串地說, : "你未轉LAW" (3) 落單亂龍I wrote down the dishes I wanted to order on a piece of paper, 那位落單可讀出我的小菜, that meant she could understand my writing. But when she gave me the order receipt, she added one dish i DID NOT order. I asked her to cancel that dish but she just simply disappeared with my piece of paper, and never came back. Their roll cake is the best I have had so far. Also, their coffee bun and the beef curry bun are surprisingly good!!! I have been there twice. I think what the shop needs to improve is the service. It will be better if the staff are more responsive and attentive.…查看更多

I have tried the Hazlenut chocolate crunchy cake, chocolate truffle and the mixed berry napoleon. The taste of Hazlenut chocolate crunchy cake and the chocolate truffle is very similar and OK only. I think the chocolate passion fruit moouse cake at Patisserie Yamakawa (IFC) is a lot better.The napoleon is also not spectacular. The ones at Tin Hau Mimosa are more outstanding.The cakes are quite disappointing. Given the prices they ask for, I would expect a much higher standard. I guess I will not go back there again. …查看更多

濃朱古力熱情果慕絲蛋糕 is very good!! green tea roll cake and chestnut roll cake are not bad but i think Ceres is a lot better.I will definitely try its other cakes in the future…查看更多

There have been quite a number of bad comments about 女職員 or老闆娘. I will not doubt their words. But I just want to say my personal feelings about her.I have bought cakes from Mimosa three times. each time , I saw the女職員 or老闆娘. I personally find she is a nice, reasonable and even thoughtful lady. It is true that she does not have much smile, she is very blunt, she might not be tactful but she is genuine. She is definitely not the kind of lady we usually see at some bakery chainstore who are forced to wear fake smiles and speak with 高八度 聲線 all the time. Anyway, it has become my favourite cake shop. I think it is better than Vanilla. The拿破崙, cashew cheesecakes and the brownie cheesecake are excellent!!! Yet, to me, their chocolate related products such as Chocolate fudge, tiramisu and coffee gateau are not as great.…查看更多

I bought the 櫻花蝴蝶酥 ($100) and tried them just now. They have no 櫻花 taste at all. I really wonder what’s the difference between the sakura and the original flavour other than the price. To me, it is like ordinary 蝴蝶酥 and definitely not worth the price. The fresh ones sold at Central Marks & Spencer ($9 each big one) is a lot better.At first, I wanted to buy the coffee cookie as well after reading the feedback below. Luckily the man at the shop offered me to try first. I should thank him for saving my $ coz I personally think the ones at Jenny’s Bakery and the Quartet are better. So I did not buy the cookie and only bought the櫻花蝴蝶酥. Yet that man asked me why I did not buy the coffee cookie after trying. I planned to keep my opinion to myself, but since he insisted and appeared sincece, so I told him I think the texture is dry. His smile lost immediately and told me “ No, a lot of people do not think so!”. 朋友之前話想試呢間餐廳, 不過睇完上面comments, 又有d心大心細. 噚晚一行數人終於試過, 又幾好食喎!我地成班人無叫set dinner ,全部散叫, 首先上的是餐廳homemade 的意大利飽, 好軟熟, 好好味. 反而跟埋一齊上的圓飽就唔係homemade, 有d似嘉頓貨色.我地試左煎鵝肝, 都好有水準, 煎到剛剛好, 唔會太乾身. 另外個龍蝦意粉都好好味. Pizza 就試左four cheese pizza. 我朋友鍾意佢個crust 夠脆, 我就鍾意佢個cheese 味夠重.至於dessert 都有幾多選擇, 不過我地只試了tiramisu. 同其他tiramisu好唔同, 好無酒味同coffee味, 但非常Creamy!!Service 方面, 兩位waitress 都好sweet, service 好好.後話: 食飯期間, 剛巧大?? 細佬都在場, 唔知可能有幾杯酒落肚, 朋友同我都覺得佢有d 似開朗版的火舞黃沙“宋東陽”. …查看更多
