I was recommended to try this place from a friend and had kept my expectations (with regards to service low) since its really not known for their hospitality, but is extremely well known for their eggs and egg desserts. I was definitely pleasantly surprised by the ham and egg sandwich. It was really yummy!!! I'm really glad I tried it and would definitely recommend it for an economical and casual tea time. Yums! The atmosphere is very chilled out and of all the different afternoon teas i've tried, this one is by far my most favourite and memorable!!!! The three tiered afternoon tea set came with traditional sandwiches: cucumber, smoked salmon, egg salad, scones and an awesome variety of decadent pastries. Each pastry was superb!!!! Since the portions were not huge, I think that actually made us enjoy the taste of the pastries even more!!! I also loved the apricot jam and cream that was served with the scones. The afternoon tea set was quite lovely but nothing really exceptional. I really loved the porcelain tea pots and cups but in general it was the food was quite ordinary. However, the portion was very filling. There were two of us and we ordered two different tea sets. The portions were definitely enough for three and we even had to take some away with us!!! Not sure if I would opt to have it again though since it wasn't really spectacular in any way. They also had live music so it got quite hard to hear my friend from across the table at times.…查看更多

This place was recommended by a colleague and when the food arrived, I totally forgot to snap a shot before taking a pic. The food looked so good, we all just had to dig in right away! There were three of us so we were able to try a couple different things on their menu. I really enjoyed their go green(vegetarian) salad, their taco (vegetarian) as well as their BLT burrito. I love bacon!!! I'm not a vegetarian but my colleague was, and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of their vegetarian dishes. I will definitely be back for another visit to try more of the selection!!!! The chicken pot with mild spicy was really good!!! It can also be used for hot pot base but since I wanted to try the fish, we opted not to do the hot pot this time. I forgot to take a picture of my main course which was the sirloin but will probably return to this place cuz it was pretty good!!! I had come to Harrington's with a party of 10 and everyone walked out raving about their dinner! The only complaint would probably be a longer than expected wait for the food but, all in all, we all would agree that it is a place that we would try again!!! Was told to try this because its the most traditional type dim sum in Hong Kong. The food was not very exceptional but the experience was interesting since, we had to sit at a table with strangers and hygiene is not their strong suit. However, the tea was served in a traditional way where the tea leaves are cleaned first and the water discarded before you pour your own tea.
