I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The service was polite and attentive, with waiters actively refilling my water without me having to ask. The staff was decently polite and made me feel welcomed throughout my meal. The dishes served were hearty and delicious, leaving me pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. Despite being a big eater, I couldn't finish everything on my plate this time (finally a meal that made me feel full!). The quality of the food actually matched its price (which is rare in Hong Kong).The seating arrangement was comfortable, with ample space between tables to ensure privacy. The addition of pillows on the seats was a nice touch, contributing to the overall coziness of the place. I particularly appreciated the fact that this was the only restaurant so far where I could sit side by side with my partner. 兩個人去茶聊食晚餐，所有店員都係冷冰冰，黑口黑臉，不過無收我+1 咁就算，無所謂，有收就唔同講法。環境唔錯。開心果椰椰 $45首先叫咗兩個飲品，芝芝巨峰提子 無影相，所以得 開心果椰椰。成晚唯一滿意嘅嘢，側面的開心果醬好好食，溝埋椰子汁真係好夾，睇嚟茶聊真係得飲品係ok。慢煮西班牙八爪魚配番茄蒜蓉扁意粉 $158份量偏少，八爪魚冇乜味，成碟味道就係普通嘅番茄意粉，唔值$158。炭燒紐西蘭羊扒配秘製燒汁 $168份量偏少，羊肉好難咬，咬唔開，而且都多肥膏，肉又少，一啖基本上食完。唯一好嘅係無羊酥味。自家製炭燒西班牙豬頸肉 $88普普通通...整體而言，除咗飲品唔錯，其它係好普通，物非所值，係買貴咗嘅薩莉亞，唔會再幫襯。…查看更多

另一半帶我去呢間食拉麵。之前食過葵芳、甚至係香港好多間嘅拉麵，間間份量都係少到喊，麵少、肉得一塊，薄到紙咁，未試過香港食拉麵可以食得飽同食得滿足。本來都抱住0期待嘅心情食，但結果呢間樂麵令我喜出望外。首先入去，裝修好有風格、幾特別，不過個枱面唔知點解好油、好污糟咁，希望可以清潔下。至於員工方面，就見仁見智啦，有人唔鍾意啲後生仔女員工，話佢哋態度唔好，我自己就覺得無問題，幾好。咁我叫咗碗真熬雞白湯拉麵，啲肉真係多、厚度正常，唔係紙片，麵都好多、湯又好飲，食得幾飽。個人認為香港平民拉麵嚟講，呢間算係有良心。至起碼佢啲肉真係有7－8塊係度，唔係好似其他黑心店得一塊肉紙係到。不過可惜我叫咗好多洋蔥，搞到味好濃，下次都係唔叫咁多蔥😅。如果樂麵可以維持呢個水準，維持呢個份量，我絕對會繼續幫襯。…查看更多

During my quest to find the best-rated restaurant in Kwai Fong, I stumbled upon The Salted Pig and decided to bring my significant other along. As we arrived, we patiently waited outside for around 5-10 minutes, only to find the restaurant packed with customers.First and foremost, the service left much to be desired. The staff seemed overwhelmed and barely attended to us. Their attitude lacked friendliness - they appeared rushed and cold. The level of service fell short of expectations, especially considering the 10% service charge we were charged. Needless to say, we were left feeling disappointed. To add to the frustration, we were handed the bill while we were still enjoying our meal. The cramped table and the feeling of being hurried out tarnished the overall experience.Sausage Around The World (6 TYPES) $258Moving on to the food, we started with the "Sausage Around The World (6 TYPES)" which featured a selection of bratwurst, boerewors, klobása, käsekrainer, smoked beef sausage, and chicken krainer. Most of the sausages were delicious, and it was a delightful experience trying out different varieties.Slow-Cooked Crackling Pork Belly $258Next up was the highlight of the night, the Slow-Cooked Crackling Pork Belly. It was a symphony of textures - crispy, juicy, and meaty. The accompanying spicy vinegar sauce was a revelation. Despite its spicy label, even my partner, who usually avoids spice, could enjoy it without any issues. The sauce itself was exceptionally flavorful. It was a perfect dish in every way.Col de' Salici - Rosé di Salici (per glass) $48To accompany the meal, I ordered two glasses of Col de' Salici - Rosé di Salici, although I cannot provide a comment on the taste since I do not consume alcohol much. I simply wanted to try out the Valentine's Day special.ConclusionThe food at The Salted Pig was amazing. The flavours were outstanding, and the portion sizes were moderate. However, the service fell below average, and the restaurant had a noisy ambience that made it difficult to hear my partner. It's a shame that a remarkable culinary experience was dampened by these shortcomings. I brought my other half for lunch at Tapa Room, and it was our first time dining there. The environment is nice with wines and beers displayed on shelves, wooden tables and stuff, creating a pleasant atmosphere. We arrived around 3-4 pm so there were very few other customers, which I enjoyed.The staff was nice, pouring us water and offering to pack up our leftover food since we couldn't finish everything, showing a friendly attitude with good greetings and farewells.SEARED FOIE GRAS CRISPY BREAD, MULLED PEAR (4 pcs) $98We started with the seared foie gras crispy bread and mulled pear. They were tasty, although very salty.TORTILLA DE PATATA (COD ROE) $88Next, we tried the tortilla de patata with cod roe favor. It was delicious with a great texture, and we had no complaints, perfect!ROASTED SUCKLING PIG (HALF) $398Lastly, we ordered the roasted suckling pig (half), which was a hearty portion, meaty and juicy. Unfortunately, we were already quite full and couldn't finish the entire dish, but it was still good. We underestimated how large the roasted pig would be. I think one suckling pig (half) and another small dish would be enough for two people.ConclusionI enjoyed the place, the service, and the food. However, for those who worry about the price, I must mention that the prices were quite expensive, with our total coming to $689. 慶祝另一半生日，訂咗Deer Kitchen食嘢。一入去，比OpenRice前台個男人睇，入座。唔知個男人係老闆定經理，態度惡劣、語氣差、黑口黑臉，完全無迎賓應有嘅態度，即時已經破壞咗我當晚嘅心情。當晚嘅侍應亦係零服務、講嘢細聲，唔識待客。人魚之淚 $52 咁呢杯係有芒果、鮮奶、蝶豆同爆爆珠。我自己就覺得佢調得唔係幾夾，唔好飲。最令我唔滿意嘅係，呢杯嘢個份量真係細得交關，飲幾啖已經冇晒。細細杯扮高級，又唔係特別好飲。我寧願飲出面嗰啲化學手搖，人哋起碼大大杯。荔枝魅影  $48呢杯就好飲啲，不過都只係好街邊汽水少少。和風鰻魚牛油果薄餅 $168正正常常，幾好，當係前菜咁食。啤酒漿炸鱈魚薯條配他他醬 $178鱈魚薯條+檸檬汁 鮮甜、脆口，好食，唔錯。熔岩雞翼山 $148$148嘅雞翼，食落去只係比M記好少少，唔值148呢個價。我自己燒 然後落啲芝士都可以做到同樣效果。火焰西班牙黑毛豬肋骨 $288感覺同$150－200嘅豬肋骨差唔多水平，未好食到$288嘅地步，份量少，骨多過肉。總結埋單總數 $970，最唔滿意係服務態度，由門口到食完離開，成個過程都無感受過應有嘅服務態度，一眾員工一係就黑口黑臉、一係就木頭人，一係就語氣惡劣，仲好意思收加一。另外就係部份食物份量偏少，尤其飲品同個豬肋骨，以為細細份就會高級啲。唔該你首先整得好食先，有料先再學人細份扮高級。價錢同質素不成正比。玉盤珍饈嘅價錢，食落 味同嚼蠟，食不果腹。失望，唔會再嚟，智商稅。…查看更多

Celebrating Christmas late, my other half introduced me to "90s Lazy" for our belated Christmas meal, so we decided to go there. The seats were pretty comfortable, with cushions and pillows around—overall, it was nice. When we were ordering our food, the waitress simply listened and didn't repeat what we ordered. It was unusual because a waiter is supposed to repeat the customers' orders and ensure they are correct. However, she memorized our order, and the food came out correctly, so I didn't mind. While not the finest dining, 90s Lazy offered better quality than most casual restaurants at affordable prices. I think I would return for their fair pricing and generous servings.
