Came for traditional hk cha chan tang breakfast on a weekday and won’t be coming again due to the terribly poor service of the waitress here. Was looking for seats not near the kitchen bar area and 2 waitress just yelled the aisle need that area cannot be crossed with no signs showing that aisle cannot be used. Then another waitress scolded us for picking a different table that is away from the kitchen bar area. Not only is she extremely rude, she then acted like it’s absolutely normal to treat customers like this🤨 such ill mannered behavior honestly need some serious staff training. Came grab some lunch, there’s quite a line during lunch hour and seats were pretty filled up. So I had takeaway, picked the quinoa salad leaves with beetroot, pumpkin, salmon and hummus. Came for dinner over the weekend, love the privacy in here. The staff are warm and very welcoming, delicious raw crab and goose platter (goose meat, liver, intestine) very well braised and a bit on the salty end of the scale.Tried the pepper soup with pork (lots of pepper in it) and olive with 🐚 which is fair. Oyster omelette and oyster congee are both made the traditional chiu chow way which is rarely found in hk nowadays. Fish cooked with raddish (instead of cooking it the normal steam way, the whole fish is fried then steamed) taste ok but no wow Super full but still managed to try a spoonful of the taro pudding coz I haven’t had it for ages, love itjust the right amount of sweetness with strong taro flavor. Was around the area late afternoon. Also see this small shop has a long queue outside, just a couple people outside so decide to give it a try. Waited for like 15mins but the food took quite a long while from order to our table...Always like simple dishes, as good ingredients doesn’t need fancy sauce and cooking method. It should taste best cooked simple. Not a fan of eating organs, so I picked the beef brisket and tendons with traditional Chiu chow noodle while my friend picked the pork organs with noodle which this place is famous for and it turns out very good. She love the soup base it’s peppery sweet and clear, they give a very generous amount of the organs with the price they charging for. Came grab some bakery, and the way they display them at the counter makes you wana try everything. I got the honey oat sourdough, double choc cookie for myself and some egg tarts for sharing. The sourdough is very fresh, chewy and hard on the outside with a hint of honey sweetness and soft chewy inside. The double choc cookie is very nice. Not too sweet, soft and chewy with some dark melted chocolate bites in it. Egg tart is good too, flaky crust and a creamy custard inside. Came grab some lunch takeaway and always saw the big Michelin advertisement of the store here. I’m normally prefer siu long bao to pan fried bun. So I get the mixed buns of 2 each - standard pork, shrimp and pork, pork with truffle. There’s quite a few people waiting and they are pretty quick waited 5 mins after ordering and it’s readyfor pick up. The staff asked how many packets of vinegar or chili sauce I need which is thoughtful. The buns are ok, hot soup inside and pretty hard skin on the outside. The shrimp bun is my favorite of the 3. Came with a group of six ppl, made booking and has a time limit of 2 hours. The place is packed... saw all the good reviews and was expecting some nice food. The waiter is quite polite. We tried the friend chicken in sweet and spicy sauce, sweet soy sauce and cheese sauce. It’s soso, the good thing is it’s hot but the chicken is not juicy at all, dry and quite flour heavy. So I came late afternoon to meet a friend back from Canada, always wanted to try this spot given it’s fame. I normally like having hot latte but it’s an extremely hot day and we are sitting at the table outside without aircon so I’m getting an iced one. I like the clean and simple deco of the place, not much queuing to order and waited like 5mins to get my coffee ready though the place is pretty packed and lots of people are taking pics here and there. The latte is rich with a strong nice aroma on the bitter side, no sourness that I can taste. There’s also a good amount of milk which balance well with the bitterness. Ordered a flat white and pork lasagna to go during lunch time, I like the simple and wooden deco of this little cafe and there’s these cute dinosaurs near the window high table. The paper cup is very good quality but the flat white is disappointing. I mean it’s prolly the worst one I had for a while, coffee taste strong yet so watery I can barely taste the milk in it. It’s more like an americano with a splash of milk so I prolly not gona grab coffee from here anymore :(I suspect it’s to do with either the amount or kind of milk they used? Always love the fried chicken here because it’s so juicy, especially the drumstick. It’s a good to have once in a while for sharing. Ordered the fried chicken bucket, which is good as usual, fries is soso but the chicken tender is surprisingly disappointing coz it’s super dry and hard, not juicy at all. I remember had that before and it’s nice and juicy, prolly not gona ordered this again. First time I came after the opening of this new branch, I love the boat noodle at their wan chai branch a lot but the queue is crazy n they don’t take reservation so I rarely gocoz I don’t like queuing hahaMy friend arrived first and lucky we don’t need to queue much like 5mins, it’s more spacious in here than the wan chai branch. It’s chill environment and I love the wooden table in particular. They don’t do boat noodle here so I pick the signature curry noodle with beef and egg noodle which has very thick tasty soup base in a good way tho. One of the pastry I love most is pain au chocolate, it’s not easy to find ones that’s not too sweet as my taste of chocolate is always dark 85% or up The size is relatively small compared to ones from Marks and Spencer’s. It’s not too heavy even finishing the whole thing and not oily either. …查看更多

Their latte is always one of my favorite from coffee chains - mainly because of the size they serve, milk they used and good quality espresso. Starbucks has launched the mobile order long time ago, the app works pretty well just that I am not really a fan of their coffee. Got a 10% off for trying to use the mobile order, and saving my time. Yes, of course I would love to, it shows my latte is ready to be picked up in 10mins once I place the order, or u may also pick a later time. Got a smoked chicken from here, my mom’s favorite normally this need to be pre-ordered but was so lucky they have two available. Waited like 10mins to have it chopped up for takeaway. So I came after a hike with some friends, waited 20 mins to be seated as they don’t have many seats and due to the 4 people per table rule from covid19.I was told this place is quite famous so was expecting more but turns out their signature fresh toast is not served until half2. So I had an ice lemon tea which tea is bitter and very condense with no ICE when it came to our table prolly all already dissolved before coming to our table ... also had the scramble egg toast which is alright.
