Came to this new hotel for staycation and tried this restaurant for dinner. Not many choices in menu but the food we ordered were all quite tasty. The highlight is the chilli crab, definitely worth trying if you like crab. The satay was also tasty and worth ordering.However, there is room for improvement on service. Came here for lunch on a 1T typhoon signal but had a very relaxing time as the resturant only had a few tables.This is the second time we have been here and the food quality continues to be a very high standard. The menu have changed since the last time we were here, we took 5 courses lunch menu.Our favourite item remains the Uni Tart, which needs add-on $$$ to the menu. We feel the price is a bit high, $788 per person add-on. However you cannot fault the taste.Chef was kind enough to offer us cheese platter and fruits for our dessert course as we did not take dessert. Very excited to come to this new place at Rosewood. Was able to book a table at the “dining room” part of the resturant. The menu did not have too much to choose from.The service was ok considering the resturant was still new, but not yet at top fine dining level. Our servers were polite but their actions were not well thought out. For example, sharing plates were given after food was served and when the servers realised some courses were share among the table (although we told them when we ordered). We had two different bottles of wine for the table but only one wine glass was given to each person. Food was ok, main courses portion was a bit small. Best dishes were Red Prawn Uni Pasta and Tiramisu. Prices were reasonable considering it’s a 5 star hotel restaurant but corkage at 1,000 was a bit much, even though it was free when you order a bottle at the restaurant.Overall need further improvement if it wants to be at par with Henry or Chaat or The Legacy House.…查看更多

The ingredients were simple but the taste was fantastic. At $1,000 per head, you cannot fault the service or the food quality.Best dish of the night was the truffle rice!!! Very lucky to have gotten a last minute booking on a Saturday for lunch. Been here for a few times and have always loved the place because it was simple dishes done well.The pink prawns and steak tartare were very good and definitely worth keep coming back for. First time here as part of our staycation stay at MO. Booked 9pm seating and the restaurant was still full when we walked in.The food was quite good, not fantastic but not bad either. The food highlight is definitely the Waygu Sando, melt in your mouth fantastic!!!The drinks is what you should come here for. Ordered two cocktails and both were great. We were seated next to the bar and had a full view of the bartender making drinks throughout our dinner. The service was friendly but seems a little short staffed when the venue is full. Came to have brunch with friends on public holiday. Arrived at noon and the place was not full, but by 1pm it was packed with people.My personal favourite brunch dish is Big Bad Ben. Booked this resturant due it being in the list of restaurants for AE card promotion.Firstly the service was really good, our server took time to explain the menu to us and was friendly. The tapas we ordered were nice - iberico ham, truffle croquettes, prawns and broken eggs.However, the highlight was definitely the suckling pig. It was freshly made and piping hot when it was served to us. The meat was tender and the skin was crispy. A very well done dish and definitely big enough portion to share between 3-4 people!!!To top it off, when the manager came to ask how our meal was, we told him that the suckling pig was very filling and would be nice to come with some greens to counter the pig fat and he immediately offered us a small salad on the house. Went to have a late quiet lunch at Tango Elements. The service was efficient and trouble free just as I hoped for a quiet lunch.The set lunch menu was not great value but the food was decent. Booked for Sunday Brunch late Saturday night and didn’t have much expectations as being able to get a table the night before usually means the resturant is only so so 😅There is a set brunch menu which we wanted to order but was told that needed advance booking thru the resturant website (we booked thru Openrice).However, we still had a great time as the a la carte menu dishes were tasty as well. Walked past this place as we explored the new Central Market. Booked for dinner for our family on a Friday night, thinking it would just be another ordinary sushi place as it was in a food court kind of setting at the bottom floor of Central Market.Turned out we were pleasantly surprised. The Omakase menu was very reasonably priced!!!The ingredients were fresh and tasty, the chef that served us was friendly and service overall was good as the staff tried their best to accommodate for our young child.Would recommend one of the Omakase menu and the sake on tap. Situated at Tai Kwun in Central, not exactly a place where you would associate with Omakase. Was seated at the bar area before being led to our seats. As the previous seating was running a little late, the restaurant was nice enough to offer us a drink on the house.We tried Sushi Shikon at MO Landmark just recently and didn’t expect Sushi Zo to top that experience. However, we were pleasantly surprised!The only drawback was the preparation bench was a little bigger than usual and this made it harder to look at the chef preparation close up.From food perspective, the ingredients were very fancy and the taste was excellent.
