Return visit with a business colleague and it was still good. My colleague thought the Oysters were excellent and better value than other places he tried in Central. The US ribeye was large and very tender, served on a wooden platter. We both had the free flow for $88 and the wines were decent and the beers fresh and cold. Apparently they have a loyal local customer base who drink moderately otherwise they couldn't afford to offer the free flow. I came here for dinner and while it was expensive it was very good. Great views from the upper floor and a good selection steaks and wine. My only criticism is that the bread seemed a trifle staleand the meat a little underdone. Great selection of sauces and the chips were first rate. Recommended for business or dates . I had a business colleague in town and this place was close to his hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. Nice decor, candles, music▪︎Not pretentious and the waiters were attentive but not annoying. Started with Oysters and the selection was all super fresh and well presented but a bit cheaper than we were used to. The wine list has a decent selection of mostly French wines. We had a Syrah with our steaks, US Ribeye and a NZ filet mignon. Both were cooked to.order with a serve of fries, the red wine sauce went very well with the meat.
