Famous is excellent on several dishes.The shanghai soup dumplings are superb. The shrimp dumplings are dynamite. The rice rolls are very solid, and the pork buns are great.Shu mai is bad here and any meat ball is bleh.But you should definitely give Famous a try.…查看更多

We had several dishes here. We had the shrimp and pork wontons. Just a mess. The soup base had no flavor and tasted like only MSG. There was too little shrimp and too much work, creating a weird balance of flavors, only made worse by the undercooking of one of the wontons.Green tea custard buns. Ok with taste but the green tea is too runny. Needs to be more solid, otherwise eating it is messy.Pork buns. Ok, but nothing to write home about.Braised oxtail. Too much carrot overpowers the other tastes. I know you’re supposed to put carrots with this dish, but it’s too much. The oxtail itself was tough when it should fall right off.Rice. Dry.We also got rushed to pay the bill while we were still eating.Can’t think of a single dish I would come back for. The service was bleh.
