Stopped in for a late lunch and ordered the mapo tofu without meat. It came very quickly as pictured, without broad pean paste or even mala on top. It was very bland, and not spicy. It was watery and not thick. I asked for some spiciness and they brought chili paste, which was decent and made the dish palatable. $95 for flavorless tofu, $15 for tea (they bring automatically), $15 for steamed rice plus a service charge brought this meal to $137.5 for food that was not enjoyable. This restaurant has the best spicy pork dumplings in Hong Kong, and amazing value at $25 for 20 mini dumplings in soup. The restaurant will customize the soup spicyness level to your liking, and all the dumplings are made fresh right in front of you. The recipe is so good that other nearby restaurants have tried to steal it. They also serve up some amazing spicy noodles with coriander and lots of garlic. Ordered the sweet & sour 'pork', wonton noodles, curry 'lamb' and hot and sour shark fin soup. Everything was very tasty. The wontons were so similar to pork in flavor and texture that I was actually concerned they had meat, but they were entirely veg based. The condiments and vinegar complimented them perfectly. The curry lamb was clearly not meat, but captured a lamb-like texture.  The 'shark fin' hot and sour soup had a great texture. The portion sizes were generous - we ordered a small soup but it came out as enough to share between the two of us. The hot tea was so excellent that I asked for the brand to pick some up myself. Ordered delivery via foodpanda, Cuttlefish Ball with Noodle and added fish dumplings. Food came quickly and soup was separate from the noodles, so they were not soggy. However, I was disappointed with the fish dumplings - they were chewy and tasted overcooked, and were starting to get loose. They did not taste fresh. The cuttlefish balls tasted like they had a great deal of cartilage and some chewy pieces if that bothers you. They were fine, but not the freshest. Overall, I felt like $83 was a little expensive for what I got - I would have expected higher quality and fresher ingredients (even with $20 delivery fee). I ordered the Nepali Thali Set A , Steam Vegetable Momo. I've been coming here for years but this was my first time getting takeout, via Foodpanda. The food came quickly and was still piping hot when it arrived. The Nepali Thali Set came in a bento-like box that kept the lentil soup separate from the veggies and the fish curry. The veggies were amazing, pre-sliced and a little salty without being too oily. The lentil soup was similarly rich but not too heavy. The fish in the curry was lightly fried but tasted like it had just been prepared for delivery. Served alongside a healthy portion of rice. The veg momo were amazing. They are long, rather than round, but full of tasty veggies, and came with a side of spicy sauce and pickled lemon. I ordered delivery via Foodpanda. Spent $178 for three dishes: the pomelo shrimp salad, veggie spring rolls, and the mushroom pho. The pomelo-shrimp salad was super tasty, well portioned, and tangy. Veggie spring rolls (2) had only lettuce, carrot, and vermicelli, but came with a sweet-and-sour-like dipping sauce. They were fresh and filling The mushroom pho was only ok, but it was nice to have an almost-vegetarian dish. The soup was delivered separately from the noodles, but did not come up with any sides (like fresh lime or hot sauce). The soup may have been chicken stock, but was not heavy or oily (it was hard for me to tell if it was chicken). My oat milk latte was flawless! Got a takeaway coffee delivered. The ratio of coffee to milk was perfect for my taste. Sometimes I find that coffees can be overly milky for my taste, but this one was just right. I would recommend this cafe for folks who like their coffee itself to have flavor (as opposed to masking the flavor of coffee with milk and sugar). Oat milk was good quality. I was amazed at the value of the seared fish bowl. I ordered delivery via foodpanda and the food with delivery fee came to $104. Three types of fish: 3 slices of thick cut salmon, two of tuna, and sliced seared scallop. All were amazing and melted in my mouth. I added an order of salmon sushi on the side for $10.5, and it was great value. The set also came with miso soup and plenty of wasabi. The rice had what appeared to be  furikake. The low price led me to purchase takeout here via online delivery platform. I got a lot of sushi for about $160, however the cuts of fish were very small. Many were perched on top of rice, rather than being wrapped around it. The rice-to fish ratio was not great, which really took away from the experience of the sushi. I could barely taste the regular salmon because it was so thin. The yellowtail sashimi was still frozen (though I suppose I prefer this to it being warm). Delivery was quick. …查看更多

Ordered two sets via food panda: The salmon set and small Set B. The salmon set advertised 7 fresh salmon and 7 prime salmon. It came with 3 salmon belly and 4 seared salmon instead of the prime salmon. The seared salmon had mayonnaise on top (I had to wash this off as it makes me nauseous). Aside from this, the salmon was great and excellent value for the price.  Set B also had mayo/kewpie inside that was difficult to remove. One of the rolls seemed to be taken off the conveyor belt rather than made fresh - the shrimp tempura was entirely soggy so I removed hygiene points. The roll sizes were also very large, and difficult to eat in one bite. Overall, I think it's better to go in person (even if you get takeout, you can order individual pieces of fish or rolls, unlike on foodpanda, where they only offer set meals) and to make sure you can get the freshest rolls…查看更多

The food was reasonably priced and arrived quickly. Ordered online via Foodpanda. The mapo tofu was very watery - it seemed to be missing broad bean paste and cornstarch slurry to thicken it, as it was mostly just oily soup. The tofu broke apart easily, and it had not been sautéed long enough to soak up any of the mapo flavor. It did have some numbing spice on top. It did not come with rice (had to be ordered separately) Overall, I would not order again. The shredded potatoes were very tasty and full of flavor. They seemed to be premade, were a bit soggy but had soaked up a lot of flavorThe chili oil noodles were again... tasty... but not spicy. This café is my favorite in Mong Kok and probably all of Hong Kong. The coffee is good quality and the food is great. The weekday lunch special  with a meal and coffee is great value. They do an excellent salmon eggs benedict with crunchy fresh bread. The staff is incredibly sweet and accommodating if you have particular dietary requirements - they made me a tuna melt with no mayo (the metlt comes with 2x of cheese).  All of the pastries here have been excellent and fresh, particularly the rosemary pound cake and lemon cake.  They are great flavour, dense, but not too heavy. The best dumplings I've tried in Hong Kong. The dumplings are small and delicate, but filled with delicious pork and peppercorns; they'll fill you up but don't feel to heavy. There is usually a queue so you may have to wait for a few minutes. The large bowl of dumplings is $25 and small $16, both excellent value. I usually ask for moderately spicy- the soup w/out spice can be bland (standard HK soup), but the extra spicy packs a punch.They serve dumplings until they run out, which is usually around 6pm-6:30pm, so I would recommend getting there early!The owners are incredibly nice as well, I'm a regular and they always ask me about my day. No chairs or tables, take out only, but when the dumplings are so good, it really doesn't matter where you eat them.…查看更多
