I’m a regular client of Rummintings and I love this place!! The atmosphere is great, the staff is super nice and the drinks are a bit on the pricey end but they all really good! And the food... just WAW! This is, I believe, the only place where you will find actual Jamaican food and they do it really well.The card changed a lot recently but I like the fact that they now focus on the best features: the pork ribs, the jerk chicken and the Cubano sandwich! Each one of these items is so tasteful and juicy!! I heard about this Michelin-Star restaurant from Japan from a friend of mine who used to live there and my expectations were quite high with this one. One thing is certain, the Hong-Kong version is really good and it does not disappoint. The soup especially is really tasty, it was one of the rare times where I actually drink it al the way at the end !!Located in IFC Mall, I think it makes for a great and necessary addition to the few affordable and good lunchtime options for those who work there. I usually visit this restaurant after a good night out with my friends. There are not that many choices for food at 2-3 am so I am always happy to come over and have a thing to eat. I always go with their kebabs or sometimes content myself with some hummus. Prices for me are a bit high though. I went to The New Punjab Club for my birthday and I had high expectations for it, as I knew it was a Michelin star restaurant. And WAW I wasn’t disappointed AT ALL !!First of all, the environment, decoration and feeling of the place is just perfect: neat space, colourful paintings, cosy couches, large tables and clever lightening focusing on the food: everything is made so you can enjoy so much sitting there that you never want to leave. The staff is VERY nice, smiling a lot and playing around with the customers, for my pleasure! They are also all very knowledgeable about the food and take pleasure in explaining how certain dishes were made and where the ingredients come from. Seriously, I felt sometimes that I was listening to story like a young kid about to sleep, with all the details in the storytelling by our waiters!!! And then.. THE FOOD... Oh my God... WAW !!!!! I love Indian food of course but this is all the things I like re-imagined to the smallest details and to the next level. We ordered a usual classic of mine: samosas, butter chicken and chicken tandoori , plus a salade to rest our tongues from all the spice from time to time. And OMG !!The samosa? Not just regular samosas with some sauce on the side, NO! They come mixed with marvellous yoghurt sauce mixed with pomegranate and crispy noodles!!! The whole mixture delivers an explosion of tastes and senses on your tongue as you are chewing the samosa, cracking the noodles and savouring the sauce at the same time !! It is a real highlight !!!!!!!And the chickens? Both tandoori and butter LOOK very classic but I swear to Baby Jeezus their seasoning and texture have definitely something special to them. Never have I tasted such a good butter chicken, and I have tried A LOT of them !! On top of that we had a butter nan each that was SOOO BIG that we couldn’t finish it !!Finally, it was my birthday so the staff made sure to offer me a sweet gift in the end and take a nice picture of my couple 😍😍😍 All on the house !!!I cannot think of anything else than saying WAW when I think about that restaurant. All I know is that I want to go back there again soon and try many other items on their menu. The lamb especially looks AH MAH ZING, I saw it on another table and was MAD I didn’t get it too !!Yes!! I usually go to Sumac restaurant when I am in the mood for a fancy and delicious group dinner, and I am never disappointed. The quality of their product is incredible, especially the meats and chicken. Seriously, their mixes grilled platter is simply the best in Hong Kong, PERIOD. Each bite into the chicken, lamb and beef skewers is an invitation to heaven for your taste bugs. The meat is tender and extremely well seasoned. Congratulations are in order for their Chef (whom I don’t know the name) for succeeding in offering simple but great dishes and products. I had the opportunity and pleasure to discover Runway’s Build Your Own Burger recently and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by their offer. For 258HKD you get to make your own burger based on a (very) extensive list of ingredients, and also included fries and drinks (even wine and beer). My personal choice was a wagyu beef burger with lots of cheese, bacon and fried eggs and honestly it was super nice experience. I struggled to finish it because it was so generous in meat, sauce and other ingredients, but it was also very tasty albeit maybe a little bit dry, so the wine was very much needed, on top of being good.I also chose the truffle fries on the sides and JEEZUS how good are they !! Easily another highlight of the whole experience. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend to try it with friends as you can double down the pleasure of food with a shisha for dessert 🔥🔥🔥 !!!…查看更多
