我可以早點離開吃午飯，所以我們決定在茶記吃飯。 我點了一份烤豬排飯，我的同伴點了叉燒和炒雞蛋飯。 我的豬肉很乾很硬，我不得不用刀切成小塊。 叉燒更糟。 它到達寒冷、乾燥和堅韌。 我們用餐中最好的部分是熱奶茶。 我們等了半個小時，還沒到，我們就走了。 不知道為什麼人們排隊等候這個地方。 再也回不去了！I was able to leave earlier for lunch so we decided to eat at cha Kee. I ordered a baked pork chop rice and my companion ordered the char siu and scrambled egg rice. My pork was very dry and tough, I had to use a knife to cut into smaller pieces. The char siu was worse. It arrived cold and dry and tough. The best part of our meal was the hot milk tea. We waited half an hour and it still hasn’t arrived so we left. Not sure why people line up for this place. I ordered the chicken udon noodles and the crab salad from foodpanda and the total cost was 160 hkd. First of all the chicken udon had very few pieces of chicken and the soup was watery. The serving was small, more like breakfast / afternoon tea set size! The crab salad was a few mouthfuls, for 48 dollars you would expect more! Photos on the menu are twice the size than the actual portion you get. I’m happy to pay more but please give your customers the actual serving. I am all for supporting HK restaurants especially at these times but I felt ripped off. Quite disappointed - first time trying this place and never again. We ordered a lot of dishes via food panda and everything was good except for the sambal stingray which was rubbery and tasteless. All the other dishes were excellent, the ribs, the bak kut teh, the prawns, the noodles and the laksa. I called to ask if there was a separate sauce that they forgot to send with the stingray and commented about the rubbery texture and they immediately refunded me the cost of the dish and apologized. I appreciate the gesture and for this reason I will go back again and recommend this place to everyone who’s craving for Singapore dishes! Thank you Natalie!
