Back to Wu Kong for birthday dinner last week……and the food quality had no big difference from my last visit 2 years ago. The five of us ordered a set for four and added two extra dishes. The set: 冷盆: 1) 海蜇頭 - very refreshing; 2) 醉 pigeon; 3) 'how fu’….the portions are much larger than expected 清炒河蝦仁 & Golden Prawn -- very tasteful 紅燒外婆肉 -- some are w/ the fat....more tasteful 火腿津白 -- good 酸甜松子魚 -- good2 extra dishes: 豆腐餃子 -- 好滑 (must eat, never try this @ other places) 小籠包 -- thin pastry and juicy insideA good dinning place for family/ friend's gathering …查看更多

My first time to dine @ King Ludwig, the food was impressively delicious, as I personally have no special interest in German cuisine.Location: Deviated from the hard core of TST, located @ TST east, just opposite of the New World Shopping Mall, MTR (exit K) would be the most convenient transport leading you to King Ludwig. Environment: Traditional European style, with both indoor and outdoor dinning. The place is spacious, equipped w/ a huge TV screen right next to the live band. As we had made an advance reservation, the four of us were seated at a table for six. However, it would be more comfortable if the tables are to be placed further apart from one another. Food: A limited choice on the menu for each course. 1) We ordered 2 portions of bread that served w/ 2 kinds of paste (cream cheese paste and beef liver paste). 2) The assorted sausage platter was worthwhile to try, w/ chicken, pork, beef, each marinated with different tastes. 3) I personally don’t take ‘pig leg’….but this Roast Pig Knuckle really surprised me….crispy on the surface and juicy inside. 4) Port Pastry, which was a bit salty. 5) Lemon TartService: Good service and short waiting time for the dishes to be served. Very surprising that the live band sang me a Happy Birthday while serving the lemon tart and a free Polaroid afterwards. My bf brought me back to 天 勺on my birthday, without doubt, the quality of food has no difference from our first visit back in Valentine's Environment: A very traditional Japanese style, w/o any cozy deco. The sushi bar is right in front of the main entrance, the other side is filled w/ small tables that accommodate for 4. For those who wish to dine w/ privacy may request for tables behind the sushi bar.Food: For appetizer, we ordered this salted squid sashimi, that rarely appears on the menu at other Japanese cuisines, which was very tasty and refreshing. The assorted sashimi platter, that comprised of 8 different types, as per the chef's provision, is highly recommended. All of them taste so fresh as expected, I personally think $800 really worth! A master dish that shouldn't miss is the Eel rice, which could be taken through three different ways as per instructed. A little disappointed that the tempura was slightly overdone this time, otherwise the dinner would be perfect! Service: Very polite and efficient service in general, esp on the explanation of the intake of the Eel rice. …查看更多
