Lunch time for the first day of 2009, came to this restaurant again.The curry beef was not too spicy, with a bit sweet flavour and the beef was tender and rich, but the most important component was the potato - which absorbed all the flavours of the curry and beef and became the most delicious part.And together with the naan bread (roti canai) was really a perfect match, highly recommended. First day of 2009, try this famous restaurant as the first breakfast of the year.Arrived at about 8am, still not a full house there, easily found a comfortable seat and ordered the well known scrambled eggs , toast and macaroni with ham.Scrambled eggs - really good taste, rich and smooth with the flavour of butter there. Even better after adding pepper.Toast - they used thick slice of bread and the texture was also soft and tender.Macaroni with ham - ok stuff, the soup was quite nice with a bit like chicken flavour.Also ordered hot milk, yet the taste was plain, a bit disapointed as its name "Australia Dairy" ... and seeing the "Wai Kee" milk inside the refrigerator.Although a bit old fashioned, the overall impression of the restaurant was clean and tidy, the waiters were working fast and effective. …查看更多
