I have been a frequent visitor of Amaroni’s and I’m very disappointed in my recent experience. I visited this place with my son and did not understand that why they decided to place us in the table at the far corner, away from the main dining area where there are obviously vacant tables.Although we weren't really pushed for time, sitting there waiting for 30 minutes for the salad to arrive doesn't seem right by any standard, And only after multiple reminders, the soup and bread arrived. Foodwise, the soup is flavorless and the bread basket must have seen better days. The lasagna kept up with the normal reheated prepared-in-advanced food taste, so there was no surprise there. The ravioli was warm on top with a hard bottom and made me wonder why i am paying a premium for a microwave meal.That was a huffywaste of money and time and I doubted if I would ever return to this restaurant chain again. …查看更多

I visit Shek Mun every week for my son's taekwondo lessons.  And visiting this place is the highlight every week.In King Wing Plaza, there are plenty of little food stores, and this is one of the most outstanding ones.  I love Indian food and the food in this place is of exceptional quality.  The curry is super aromatic and is flavoured with layers of herbs.  The rice is never too fried and the sauce has the perfect consistency.  The choice of food is decent, have all the popular Indian dishes that Hong Kongers like.  You know they are opened for business because the whole aisle will be filled with the pleasant smell of curry.The quality of food is comparable to the fine-dining Indian restaurants that I visited before.  I always order the off-menu lamb vindaloo, and the chef does make an effort to make it extra spicy for me.   I often bring my own takeout containers, so I will drop this off before picking up my son from taekwondo, and I can just pick it up afterwards without having to wait.…查看更多

Small cosy restaurant, friendly service, good selection of oysters.Although not all oysters on the (very long) list are available, we picked 6 different types of oysters and they are all very fresh and tasty.We didn't have to order everything in one go - we ordered the oysters, then some snacks, then the main course, the experience was so chill and we sat there for around 3 hours, and we reluctantly left after finishing 2 bottles of wine.Apart from the oysters, the snacks and main are also made perfectly.  We had the grilled mushroom, prawn cocktail, fries and chicken wing as snacks, and grilled scallops and black truffle pasta as the main.   all very tasty.Service was attentive - the staff was okay for us to move our table (as our neighbour was too loud) and she was dashing in and out to refill my wine before my glass dried out.  Good value for money will definitely go back again.   …查看更多

The food is great and authentic, possibly one of the best Indian food I had in Hong Kong.  I ordered a lamb vindaloo with palou rice, and very few places I have vindaloo in HK that makes me sweat.  I visited the restaurant at around 2000.  The restaurant's decor is basic, but clean and comfy, which is essential for diners.  The lamb vindaloo I ordered is spicy and hot, it also has layers of flavour and the meat is succulent and tender.  In combination with the palou rice and a Mustang beer, I had one of the most satisfying Indian food in years, and I will definitely come back for more.…查看更多

Instead of having the usual 生煎包while cruising around this area, I decided to have kebabs for lunch as I didn't have them for a while, especially after I return to Hong Kong a long long time ago.  Then I realised that this was a conscious decision.Walking into an empty restaurant, I was greeted by an elderly man who, obviously doesn't work there.  There's no one in the shop except him, who busied himself with smoking and drinking coffee at the end of the restaurant right next to the pavement.After a long while, the waiter eventually came out from the kitchen side and I placed my order.  Lamb and Beef Shish with a bottle of water.After a long wait, I do mean the wait was long enough for me to consider leaving that place to go next door, or opposite, or not have lunch at all, the food came,  It was hot and the portion is reasonable.  Mind you, I don't often have lunch so if you're looking for something bigger than an 8-inch subway cut in half, then you will be disappointed.With two halves of the Shish on my plate, I started to eat.  The wrap is thin and nice.  The onion and greens are what you expected and wrapped well.  As for the meat, I can't eat without the sauce as the taste is a little strong.  Oh, there's no sauce and I have to hunt for it.  As it turned out, I should not have bothered as the amount of meat inside the Shish is so tiny that I think there must only have been one diced lamb and beef in each half of the Shish.The bottle of water finally arrived when I have finished 3/4 of my lunch.Thank you HKD85 for over charged food and the total lack of service.I won't come back to this shop again, and as a matter of fact, I will think twice before having kebabs in Hong Kong, unless I am really really drunk and there are no restaurants open.…查看更多

After a long meeting in MK, I want comfort food but not go to Jordan, which I often do for curries.  I remember seeing a sign for curry in Mongkok earlier and so I found this restaurant, which turned out to be a disaster.I scanned the menu and saw vindaloo chicken and prawn, and when I asked if they have lamb vindaloo, the male waiter said yes, turned around shouted out the order to the kitchen,  and added just make it spicy.  I thought... I am not getting vindaloo this time.The food arrived, damned, I was right.  The red colour curry paste looks like something they do to play with the locals.  Being just sour with a sharp chilli taste doesn't make it curry or vindaloo.  I wished I can be more descriptive about the food, but there really isn't that much to talk about.The curry, pilau rice and a beer cost me HKD 240, which apart from the fact that I don't have to wait for a table, is not worth going to.  For the same price, I could have gone to Carat in TST, which gives much better food, service and environment.…查看更多

If the title is what you want, then you won't be disappointed.Sake there is not pretentious.  Down to earth on sake that you like to drink rather than to boast about.People there are nice and friendly, especially the two fantastic sake sommeliers, they know what they are serving, from the sakes layers of taste to the history of the sake house that you're drinking, they know and can be your mental tour guide.no BS, they sell what they like and also hope you do too.  There are often 10 on the board that you can choose from, and also most off the list that you can ask for recommendations.  And there wasn't one that I don't like.The food is also nice, from grilled fish to chicken wing dumplings, high-quality food that you expected to get from a Japanese grill house.Working the next day is the only thing that keeps me from going there every day.…查看更多

Gin tonic with lamb vindaloo is my favourite combo at this lovely and friendly Indian restaurant.Mind you, lamb vindaloo is not on the menu, and though I would like to think I am a regular, the waiting staff often have to go and ask the chef if this is something that they do.  And very well too.The balcony is perfect for those who want a bit of fresh air while they dine, and the best time to do it is at night when you have other patrons chilling around you, enjoying the music and drinks.The food variety is sufficient and the quality is top, this is a place where I come alone, with friends and also with clients.  It never disappoints me.…查看更多

Second time visiting this restaurant, and both times I had a craving for Indian food.I visited around 2100, and food is as expected, with herbs and not too bad. The mutton dish I order is way too watery, and I think even 7-11 may have better curry dish. Service is ok, but what they served in both occasions were both cold. Looks like they couldn’t even be bothered to microwave that. I have to send back the food in every occasion I visited.Had I walk another 10 mins to Knutsford Terrance, I think I would get better food. At least hot food. After all, how can you eat cold curry? 今天和媽媽一起去慶祝生日,三個大人和兩個六歲以下小孩叫了一個蒸魚套餐,然後+1個荷葉飯,大概$700上下.食物非常一般, 吃了叉燒,雞,菜,魚,等,食材絕不新鮮新鮮選擇亦不多.沒有前菜亦沒有茶，只有熱水也收了我們定$100 (還有+1). 最後買單要1000多元真的不知道其餘的$300跑到哪裏去.如果不是近我媽住的地方,我肯定不會去, 反正在太和附近食肆甚多同類型的中餐廳性價比高的還有很多很多.還有很多很多…查看更多

I used to think that the quality at Apple Green is pretty decent, though the price is a little on the high side considering the type of food they serve.Great place for kids, and close to the church, but that’s about it.  Ordered a sirloin and ribeye steak, which took far too long to arrive (they initially gave it to the table behind me) andthen ribeye went around the restaurant twice before arriving, my medium became almost well done.  The ribeye is a little on the burnt side, but coupling with too much tendons, the whole thing taste like rubberband.Personally, i think there are far better choices over at the Mira shopping center, or the Mira hotel, with comparable price.:(…查看更多

尋晚本來係去大尾督食泰太，但係行下行下黎到龍尾村村頭的Luca意大利餐廳。 今次係第二次黎，上次係星期六中午，有風有太陽有海，不錯。今次係星期五夜晚，人吾多，但係都有幾台客及好似有人包咗樓上一層開party,都幾熱鬧。最開心係可以同我兩隻狗一齊坐。我先叫咗支Pinot grigio, 唯一一支，不過不失，我一個人慢慢飲，但都要$300+。:)睇咗一陣menu,啲嘢都好大路，冇乜特別的招牌菜，同咪啲菜式都幾雜，連地中海前食都有。因為我地吾太餓，只叫咗兩個appetizer和一個pizza。Mozzarella + tomato - 十分一般，沒有彈牙的mozzarella, 及香料不足，沒能帶出食物的鮮味。:(Baby back ribs - 有啲似吾入味的燒排骨。肉有肉，味還味，同咪啲汁太salty,似李x記叉燒醬味。好在排骨巳熟，不然就大鑊啦。:(Deluxe pizza - 只見tomato,都吾知佢點deluxe法。而且個底都吾crispy(啲麵粉好似仲喺生生哋)。不過就溥,吾駛對太多落肚。伙記都幾好，招乎不錯，可是食物一般。:(…查看更多
