Finally managed to try this restaurant. Seating area is Very spacious, which a big thumbs up for that.I ordered the Japanese roasted pork and ramen sandwich, added the lunch combo box...so I chose the Hokkaido mixed veg soup and a glass of lavender chamomile tea.Food served quite quick.The sandwich, was ok, not as amazing as I expected or saw previously from some advertisement...abit pricy for what it worths...one of those things, tried and done lolThe toasts were quite greasy from my opinion, the ramen...looks like just normal instant noodles no flavour added, the egg that’s inside the sandwich, doesnt look that attractive, plus not even a full egg lol. Had some vouchers from Harbour City, and looked this restaurant on OpenRice, seems very interesting, so made reservation and let’s give it a try.Waitresses and waiters...all have attitudes,omg.Food was good, we have ordered the ginseng chicken soup with glutinous rice, Gimbap, carbonara and the spicy chilli soondae (stir fried)...presentation are very good, all of them. the spicy chilli soondae is super spicy, haha, as it said on the menu I suppose lolOverall it was good, just the CS...think there’s rooms for improvement for sure! Always love this vegan restaurant and shop~ this time came pass to central, wanna try this new dishes 😬 and they were doing some special offer. Me and my friend ordered a bowl of the new omni luncheon rice bowl each, with two side dishes, that was the spicy chilli chicken and Indian chickpea curry with paratha bread. Late lunch for us. Early dinner to start the Halloween celebration off. Been wanting to visit this restaurant since while back, as the pics seen looked so interesting. Since it’s a Halloween weekend, most places were fully booked, apart from this one which was available at 5pm. Finally got seated in, ordered the stuff that sounded interesting, majority of the food ordered was good. Second time visiting this place, first time was just ordering a batch of bagels to take away as short of time. This time i managed to seat in as well as ordering take away bagels Their bagels are just addictive This time seat in, we have ordered the Wild Black with fries and a cold brew tea. Very nice. Quite a nice relaxing place to have a drink and chat. We had the afternoon tea set, was not bad at all, though just the usual miniatures of sweets and savouries. The savoury ones were more outstanding in comparison to the sweet ones. The 3 tiers cake stand is the most eye catching thing haha.As we booked through OpenRice, we had a special offer with a free glass of cocktails, which not bad at all. Ordered a jar of Sangria Red to start with for 3 of us. Not bad.We then placed order for food about 30-45 mins later, we ordered Seafood paella, ravioli, lobster cold soup, and a satay chicken thin crusted pizza, I think it’s called pizza lolFood came quite fast after order placed, paella was always good here, even better now we had 100 hkd discount with booking via open rice. In central and was so hungry, so decided to try this place that has been on my wanted list for a while. Went in for lunch, around 1:30pm, waited for about 5mins for table, atmosphere was so relaxing, like sitting in the back garden. Decided to go with this restaurant between the option of this and Duck & Waffle. Made the reservation via OpenRice, loved it as very convenient! Wasn’t too busy at the time we dined, we have ordered a couple of drinks each, a few starters and 3 mains, which actually abit over ordered for the 4 of us who aren’t big eater.Starters we had Cauli Bombs, Buffalo Wings, and Mac N Cheese Balls. All tasted well. But seems abit overdone, maybe the frying oil need changing?!For the mains, we have ordered 2 burgers (The Colombian & The Memphis), along with One English breakfast (The Limey). Fancy some Chinese food for my bday dinner...and finally have availability! Just the 4 of us, cause of the dining restriction.Food was great and staff were nice, but I think cause of the shortage of staff...the time it took to get served or even get noticed by was a little longer than anticipated, which I was expected different as since it’s quite a decent restaurant and location, plus how they locate their restaurant in the market.The food came really fast after ordered though...as usual over ordered, ended up taking away.Their signature duck was good, not bad, but I think the one in K11 is slightly better 🤭The chicken, with spicy and chilli oil...was so so...as too much peanut sauce over it, tastes so heavy 😅Kung Po Scallop was good, first time trying Kung Po with Scallop Wasabi Salad King Prawns...delicious! Made reservation via open rice, was looking forward to this meal. Food was so so, customer service is bad.Most of the stuff we ordered are BBQ skewers, apart from the thick cut beef tongue and the mussels cooked in Sake.Firstly, the mussels in sake - it’s more like mussels in clear soup 🙄. Ordered a glass of Japanese sake, served in under half full🤪. Crispy chicken skin skewers...not crispy at all. Prawn - no taste. The disappointment this meal brought, we practically made another reservation at another Japanese BBQ nearby straight away, and lost the interest to even take any pics 😏.Customer service - waitresses just keep wanting to remove plates off our table, and at a few occasion, the plates still have food on it! Found this restaurant on OpenRice long while back, though never be able to try, mostly cause the restaurant is always full when we planned to dine out. Anyway. Glad we made it this time We’ve over-ordered for the three of us, I think, ended up taking some away and cancelling the rice and Roti from the order.Food is very good . Seating is very comfy and spacious. Atmosphere is nice. CS is ok.We have ordered...soft shell crab (my fav) from the appetisers, very nice, just tiny little greasy that’s all. From the appetisers menu, we have also ordered...Pandan chicken; soft shell rice paper rolls; pork salami rice paper rolls; lettuce wraps with minced pork 😅 all very nice and well presented.
