My family went to try this place after reading the positive reviews here but to my Surprice, all the dishes are so disappointing and not up to standard.  Basically I cannot chew and swallow the meat from the yakitori such as ox tongue, angus beef and the steak recommeded by the staff.  The fried goose liver is so dry and not juicy.  I have to wait for such a long time for a shrimp size grilled lobster.  The ramen is in a shallow bowl with very small amount.  I would not go back again. …查看更多

I drove by this restaurant many times and finally I went there with my husband on a Sunday night. We ordered fried goose livers for appetizer, delicious and right texture after frying... the prawn creamy soup is good, the pasta is yummy too! I went there with my husband 2 weeks ago at around 9:30 p.m.. we ordered some dishes for late dinner, like fish ball rice noodles--> okay quality, fried spare ribs --> good taste, goose liver fried rice --> very yummy with big sizes of goose liver.However, the food came very slow, we have to wait for 30 minutes for the goose liver fried rice, if the waiting time can be shorten, that will be much better...The place is quite full even at 10:00 p.m. at night, may be because the service is too slow so no one is leaving...not because they got more customers than other restaurants...…查看更多

My family & I used to go to Wan chai Lei Garden and we are their old customers, as the IFC one is the new shop, so we came here last Saturday to have lunch... the environment is too crowded and no air conditioning, very hot! The dim sum size is smaller than those serve in Wanchai Lei Garden, may be it is Central, so the cost is higher and the food size is smaller... the taste of the food is more or less the same, always with good quality food... although i am a big fan of Lei Garden, i rather go to Wanchai Lei Garden and won't come to IFC again... All the dim sums are so good, no need to mention one by one.. the soup is the best part in Lee Yuen as they used the best quality materials to boil "old fire soup"...i love the "crab roe sharks fin soup", so much crab roe and sharks fin, worth to try! I love to have English afternoon tea in Mandarin Cafe.. the environment is so relaxing when compare to the busy street view in Central... i like the tea set (scones, small cheesecake and pastries, finger sandwiches), tiramisu, cheesecake, and warm white chocolate cake... all are so delicious... i think Mandarin got the BEST tea set and dessert in Hong Kong ! …查看更多

After COVA had moved to the new location at Lee Garden (ground floor), I went there with my husband and tried the new dishes there - i tried the lobster tiramisu for appetizer, the taste is okay, but not as good as described by the waiter. The main course is Sea Urchin with Scallops Linguine, it is a very bad dish, no sauce and no taste... finally, we ordered mango cream cake for dessert, the worst part is the mango is so sour, not sweet at all! i can't believe the quality of the food at Cova new location had become so disappointing!
