Last week, my sister and I visited Ho Lan Jei for the first time. Since there was a typhoon, it was relatively quiet. Their tap beer was on a buy-one-get-one-free promotion before 6, so we ordered one for each. Our food was delicious: pineapple buns, oyster mushrooms, and prawns with rice rolls. Their crème brûlée is a must when it uses French cheese and Chinese fermented bean curd. It was not sweet at all. The service was excellent as well.
