This hidden gem offers an exceptional dining experience with freshly sourced, high-quality sashimi. As someone who loves omakase, I can confidently say this place serves the freshest sashimi in Hong Kong. The thick, satisfying cuts demonstrate their confidence in ingredient quality. Each course highlights seasonal flavors, showcasing the restaurant's unwavering commitment to excellence, though they are served all at once, unlike traditional omakase.The attentive staff ensures that every need is met, contributing to a seamless experience. The environment is nice and quiet, perfect for enjoying a peaceful meal. With such high-quality food at reasonable prices, this restaurant is a must-visit for any sushi lover.     Greenhouse is the latest restaurant from Gaia group on the 10/F of Times Square HK. Its sister restaurants Glasshouse in IFC and Townhouse in LKF have shown great success with their fusion dining concept with a blend of European and Asian food.    Greenhouse is bright and spacious with an open kitchen and a bar, it has a light and casual ambience and is definitely a good place to go with friends and family for a chill dinner.    As a big fan of fusion food myself, I am amazed at the creative combination of food offered on the menu. When east meets west, they create things like cauliflower pizzas, prawns with duck eggs, noodles with crayfish and much more to offer. All of it is such an eclectic sounding mix that it doesn’t seem to work, but when you try it, they taste amazing.    To kick start, we ordered the Mushroom Kimchi Cheese ($48) from the chef’s recommendation list. The mushroom cheese skewer was a grilled portobello mushroom with kimchi flavored cheese made with robata grill,it has a rich flavor of cheese with sour kimchi taste which makes it very satisfying and addictive. The savoury and sour tastes were complimenting each other flawlessly.    Greenhouse probably has the thinnest and crispiest pizza crust I’ve ever had. So their Pizza Bites are strongly recommended. My personal favourite is the Black Truffle Prawn, Salted Duck Egg, Cauliflower Pizza ($148), and the Sichuan Chicken and Mozzarella Cheese Pizza. ($148) Their pizza is crispy and full of flavour. Black truffle pizza has a distinctive aroma from the layer of truffle sauce beneath the thin layer of melted cheese. Its toppings were quite loading with prawn, salted duck egg, and cauliflower. Cauliflower adds a unique texture to the thin pizza, giving us a unique eating experience. With fresh arugula spread through the top, greenhouse brought the spicing and aftertaste into another level. The Sichuan chicken pizza is another must-try item. Sichuan spicy chicken is an Asian dish famous for it’s addictive spicy aftertaste. By putting the dish on pizza crust, they added a huge Asian twist to pizza. The product has subtle flavour of the Sichuan dish beneath the light Mozzarella. When you take a bite, you can feel the crunchy thin crust with light taste of cheese, and after that, you will experience the famous Sichuan dish leaving the hot and numbing aftertaste.    Finally for dessert, we decided to give a shot on the highly recommended banana creme brûlée ($109). This is a very satisfying light but sweet dessert. The crackling top was covered with moist muscovado sugar. The caramelized bananas and sweet rum makes this a perfect sweet and creamy dessert to end with. A thin layer of creamy creme brûlée doused in rum can be found on the bottom, there is a shot of espresso on the side which is supposed to be poured on the dessert after flambéing the surface, but I personally don’t recommend pouring too much as the dessert gets too dense and watery. Overall it has a soft, light and smooth texture with entertaining flambé, giving a happy ending after all the dishes.    The service was generally polite and efficient, however the portions are slightly small so expect a light surprising dining experience. Greenhouse is definitely a good place to go to for a relaxing casual night with friends.…查看更多
