This is a noodle shop located in Tsuen Wan and specialises on knife cut noodles. The chef would carry a huge dough on his shoulder and would slice pieces of noodles into the blazing hot soup. Each strands of noodles will be a different size and texture. The shop usually have a line waiting outside but the turnover of tables are quite fast and customers are required to share tables. I just ordered the two types of dumpling noodle soup. The dumplings are also famous here as they handmade their pork and vegetables dumplings. Soft skin and lots of filling. Very good and taste fresh. The noodles were also al dente, great to eat it with their chilli sauce and a dash of black vinegar.
This time we also tried their sizzling xiao long bao with egg. This is one of their new dishes, at least for us as we saw it in a promo. The bao had some soup inside but the base is crispy to the bite. I think it’s good but it’s also oily. If you are on a diet, this may not be the dish for you. The price is not cheap also as it costs more than a bowl of noodles.
