Going green has become a norm in the F&B scene, but for us diners, it’s always a bit of sacrifice in terms of taste if there’s no meat in a meal. But I think @treehouse.eco was able to serve delicious plant-based food: “Olives & Rocket Pizza” had a super thin “crust” - almost like a crisp with San Marzano Tomato base, roasted bell peppers, sun-dried tomatoes and an exotic hot sauce. For lunch, many opted for bowls: “Ember Grain Bowl” with roasted beets, charred cauliflower, tomatoes, zucchini & pesto sauce was the more filling option.
While my favourite bowl goes to “Dahlia”, with mixed greens, roasted pumpkin, long beans, sprouts, tahini sauces & umami blend.
For sharing, the “Treehouse Platter” included sourdough flatbread, garlic hummus, polenta fries, eggplant caviar & deep-fried cauliflowers served with delicious sauces.
