Due to work, I eat breakfast in Causeway Bay almost everyday. Besides costly, the quality of food is seldom satisfactory at the morning rush hour. I ordered a breakfast set without much expectation. The diagonally-cut buttered toast came pretty fast and was still hot, and I was amazed by it after taking a bite. The butter was spread evenly in the right amount (sometimes "less is more", I fear those heavily buttered ones) between the freshly and appropriately toasted semi-crunchy breads. Then the scrambled eggs surprised me again. It is creamy and velvety, slightly salted and cooked to perfection (unlike the overcooked ones I've encountered elsewhere). The BBQ pork with Spaghetti in soup came in an astonishingly big portion. Though I've tasted better BBQ pork elsewhere before, the soup base here is incredible and the thick spaghetti has great texture with no signs of overcooking.
Topped it all off finally with a cup of hot tea which truly gives intense tea flavor and great aroma, blended superbly with the right amount of milk, what else can I do beside thanking my friend? With less than $30 for this exceptional breakfast, I can only write this comment and try to spread the good words about it.
