Wrong info on corkage

I saw a note here on OpenRice 'may bring your own drink-with corkage fee applied', so my husband and I have decided to bring our own wine to celebrate. The staff tells us 'no we cant' although we are willing to pay corkage fee!Wrong information provided. I was hoping they would accommodate as the information provided was wrong but they insisted and would not allow us. which caused us to carry a bottle around.....such disappointing staff.
