It’s Christmas time, that means meeting up with friend and sending out present! Tonight I went to this newly opened restaurant which I booked two weeks ago. The place is cozy and spacious. We got a table right at a corner so there was enough privacy for us. We ordered quite a lot of food as we were very hungry but ended up takeaway some of the food. First to start with, must be the famous cheese biscuit! Even through the name is biscuit, it actually tasted like scone. It was soft and moist inside and crunchy on the outside. We were very happy with this and the staff asked us if we would like more as these are served unlimited.
The soup of the day was pumpkin soup, it was very thick and sweet. My friend enjoyed dipping the cheese biscuit into the soup to eat.
The salad was big, it was presented nicely on a long plate. There were lettuce, egg, avocado and tomatoes; all cut into perfect size. The lobster bits were fresh and what I love the most is the amount of sauce.
Tuna poke is a must item for me and my friend. We order it every time we go out to eat. The tuna was in big cube, it was soft to chew. With the combination of mango and peas, it was very tasty. I really enjoyed eating it with the corn chip.
My friend was crazy about shrimp that night so we ordered a seaside shrimp trio and she was very satisfied at the end. This trio comes with three dishes, pasta, baked and deep fried. The shrimp pasta was full of lobster flavour and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The baked shrimp was yummy, it was baked with lemon and garlic. The deep fried shrimp was very nice, the coating was thin and crispy.
Steak is another must order item in our list and therefore we ordered a land & sea combo. It had a grilled sirloin and lobster tail. The steak was cooked perfectly, it was juicy and tender. I like the mushroom sauce very much. The lobster tail was meaty and chewy. There was a butter sauce for it and I found the flavour too buttery for me. The mashed potatoes was a perfect match for the lobster and steak, it was creamy.
