My parents and I happened to be around Causeway Bay one day looking for lunch. We were out of ideas so we decided to head over to Tai Hang where many small but well-received restaurants are located.I did a quick search on Openrice and Ramen Kureha was among the top results. My mom didn’t feel like eating ramen though so they wandered off, leaving me alone. =~= That was fine though since I got a table right away. -The chashu was still intact when I picked it up, and was a bit on the leaner side.
-I’m glad I ordered the noodles extra hard – it was about al dente when it reached me.
-The spicy minced pork was nice – nicely marinated, chewy with a bit of sweetness. It could have been a bit spicier though.
The Soy Sauce Half Boiled Egg came intact -
Like many of the better ramen places this is a bit pricey, but I thought it was worth it (compared to what I had at Ippudo the day before). Worth the extra walk if you’re already in Causeway Bay!
