After the fancy French food in SOHO, my friend and I decided to grab some dessert to flight the Blue Monday~I always want to try this dessert shop and there is a new branch in Central, so is perfect! Instead of choosing the normal scoop of gelato or gelato with eggette, we chose the new products, which are some sorts of a long ice-cream cone with gelato and semifreddo filling inside. There are four flavors to choose from and we chose the one that we think it will “look good” not will “taste good” lol.

First of all, it is not friendly to eat as you cannot eat it without getting it on your face. The black color on top will turn your lips into black and you so not want that to be on your face! This dessert supposes to be shared for two people, but the small ice-cream spoon can’t even break the chocolate coating, all you can do is to bite it off….
The Mango Gelato tastes pretty good, yet sesame is not really my thing, the whole dessert is basically taste like Chinese rice ball or peanut mochi with coconut flakes. The Passion Fruit Chocolate coating is quite sweet rather than sour, therefore the whole dessert is just quite heavy to finish. Nonetheless, this is all my personal perspective toward sesame flavor of this dessert, perhaps you will like the sesame flavor who knows.
Honestly, I do think the gelato would be amazing there, the colors and flavors look pretty appealing to me. I might not go back for another Strike, but perhaps for gelato~~
