Ordered: Nasi Lemak Chicken, Bak Kut Teh lunch set, Kaya toast, Teh Tarik hot & coldMy friend and I were craving Bak Kut Teh and miraculously found Bagus Bagus, I was enticed by their Nasi and Laksa options so changed course and picked the Nasi Lemak lunch set. The delicious rice is flavoured well and works well with the chicken and other toppings. I would prefer for there to be chilli paste provided or perhaps a spicer flavour but overall it was pretty good. I personally didn't quite like the B

The delicious rice is flavoured well and works well with the chicken and other toppings. I would prefer for there to be chilli paste provided or perhaps a spicer flavour but overall it was pretty good. I personally didn't quite like the Bak Kut Teh by itself as much but there are seasonings provided (garlic, chilli, soy sauce, another sauce I couldn't identify) to adjust the flavour to your liking. There was an adequate amount of meat in the soup but they are particularly bony. There is also a water cooler station customers can drink from. Kaya toast was good (better hot so best to eat them once they arrive) and tea was smooth and just the right amount of sweet.
Flavours and portions are worth the price, the staff are helpful and polite, the decorations are kitschy and reminiscent of vacationing in Southeast Asia. Flavours could be more sharp (as it felt quite toned down) but overall a pleasant meal. I would definitely come here again!
