The service here has been rather slow - essentially every occasion. I suppose it is in order not to hurry the clientele; but it is still a bit unnerving - when discounts theoretically apply for expeditious eating. The appetizers arrived. The appetizers arrived. The garlic bread slice was crispy and slightly tough, but still tasty. The soup (cream of mushroom) made up for it and was quite nice indeed. Rich taste; without being salty.
The herbal chicken comes with spaghetti (pasta) and a rather creamy sauce. The pasta was well done (al dante) and the chicken also well done -- although might have been a bit more tender. It was still tasty. The chicken slices appear to be breast meat - with skin. (Although locally preferred, I am not keen on this).
The iced tea was largely unremarkable, however, even though it came with ice (against my request), a real spoon was provided. And this helped to diffuse the lemon flavour throughout the tea. But this did not help the rather bland flavour of the tea (in the first place).
Still, for the price, this gives great value; just not if you are in a hurry.

This restaurant is quite a challenge to find if you are coming from the MTR or buses. Pity, because it offers a comparative bargain in quality/price with respect to the offerings at the new town centre.
