When O'Casa first opened in Central, boyfriend and I ate there for lunch. Serving a modern take on Taiwanese, we both agreed ... this was a very nice alternative to Teawood and would return again. As I live near this area, boyfriend and I decided to eat here with his sister and mother as they were in the area. O'Casa was new and located in the top floor of a building that is more well known for selling women's clothes. But they have cleared that area and put in two restaurants. O'Casa being one of them. As it's new, they were offering a discount of 30% off everything on the menu.
Opening the menu, we discovered a number of changes. They now offer a lot more western based items and not that many Taiwanese items. IThey even offered us a set menu that featured all western dishes. Menu is in English and Chinese with plenty of photos.
Passion Fruit Jelly ($32). I ordered this drink. A passion fruit jelly. There was some jelly on the bottom. Taste if passion fruit was pretty much nonexistent. But at least it wasn't overly sweet. Just a slight bitter taste of tea.
