This is a favorite Cantonese dish, made from stir-frying beef, he fen (rice noodles), spring onion, ginger, bean sprouts and dark soy sauce...etc.

This fried rice noodle is well executed. Each noodle is well coated with soy sauce and glazed with appropriate amount of oil rather than those greasy and oily ones which drenched in a puddle of oil.

Also, noodles are separated from each other instead of clump up together. The beef is tender and full of flavours.

There is a little twist of this dish.Instead of using spring onion as one of the main seasons, the chef uses lemon grass which adds a touch of Thai style to it.

You can tell that the chef is able to create “wok hei” (夠鑊氣) to this dish. The dish has complex smoky flavours.

“Wok hei” (鑊氣) which is a cooking technique that uses extremely high heat to create a wok sear that has its own unique umami flavour.

This dish is made by deep fried the squid, then stir frying the deep fried squid with red cluster peppers,Huai salt, spring onion...etc.Much like Chinese version of calamari.

The squid coated with thin layer of batter rather than greasy soggy thick layer ones.Seasoning is just right, not too salty.

I highly suggest pairing the squid with the Thai sweet chilli sauce which enhances the flavours of it.

Both dishes show that the chef masterd both "pow wok"(拋鑊) and “Wok hei” (鑊氣) tectniques as they are very palatable.

Hainanese chicken rice

I added $5 upgrade to chicken thigh. As the thigh has higher fat content with more flavours. The chicken is not overdone and very tender.
The rice is not soggy, mushy at all.I like it with bite.(蝦仔飯).It Is plain rice instead of oiled rice.

Since I had ordered Hainanese chicken rice,I can ordered the coconut milk red bean ice in half price discount. The drink is more delectable than the ordinary red bean ice as it has distinct coconut aroma and flavour.

My friend had ordered the Vietnamese drip coffee which has more intensive flavours of coffee beans as it is a distilled coffee.

Moreover, the hot tea is very good as Thai spices and herbs are added into the tea.

This restaurant offer very affordable, large portion, tasty Vietnamese,Thai dishes. The staffs are very proactive and helpful who serve customers promptly.

The best thing to dine in this restaurant is that they serve tables in a light speed.Once you had ordered the food,in a split second,Booooooom, steaming hot dishes appear in front of you!!!How efficient the kitchen and the staffs of this restaurant!Impressive!!
