Heard from a Filipino friend of this place once, I've always wanted to come for their delicious crepes, and finally got a chance to come here for a mael on Saturday. Cozy, small groups friendly and easily accesible. We've got a dinner set for 2, and an additional main. The appetizer we've got was a fish soup - absolutely fresh and sweet - served with shedded cheese and chrunchy garlic bread cubes. For my own cheese cravings, I've actually added a lot of them, making every spoon so full and creamy.
Coming up next was a pot of clams cooked in sweet apple cider - the Brittany type of course. It's quite a surprise for it maybe the first time I have clams cooked in something other than (the usual and getting-tired-of-it) sake. The sweetness of the apple cider did bring the natural saltiness of the clams to the next level.
We've also got a savory buckwheat crepe with pan fried scallops and mushroom and ham in creamy white sauce. The crepe was hot and crispy.
And finally, the dish this place is famous for - the sweet crepes. We've got a very classic banana and caramel crepe served with a scoop of Movenpick caramel icecream. I loved the icecream so much :9
