very enjoyable dinner

It's my husband's bday+our 1st year anniversary on the same day,so I want surprise my husband by planning a perfect dinner with him.i heard this restaurant for long since it opened&the comments are mostly good so I made a reservation& requested a wording on my dessert.the receptionist approached us&brought us to our table,we ordered 2 cocktails to start.the presentations were very nice but tastewise were not so balance between the flavours.we ordered the octopus&chicken liver pate as starters,th

It's my husband's bday+our 1st year anniversary on the same day,so I want surprise my husband by planning a perfect dinner with him.i heard this restaurant for long since it opened&the comments are mostly good so I made a reservation& requested a wording on my dessert.the receptionist approached us&brought us to our table,we ordered 2 cocktails to start.the presentations were very nice but tastewise were not so balance between the flavours.we ordered the octopus&chicken liver pate as starters,that's the best octopus I ever had! so tender&juicy full of flavour unlike the rubbery octopus I eat anywhere else.liver pate is my all time favorite too!the portion is really big that we ordered the second round of bread toast still there's half jar left,wished I could take it home&enjoy with my wine!😋we had lamb shank&beef hanger for main,lamb shank is tender&juicy as well we love it a lot,beef hanger is slightly dry.the ugly potato are quite big in portion,maybe they can cut it smaller piece&put a big more flavour in it.the pear tart has the wording as i requested&the hk server are so nice to bring a camera to take a picture for us,the western lady gave my husband a bday card!one thing very pity was that there's only one hk guy sever running the whole place for service with his hand injured,there're 3 Napalnese girls just stood there not knowing much about the menu&service,few westerners wearing suit should be be management team,theres a western lady helping too on service when it got busy,wish they can arrange more staffs to provide a full team service.no matter the food&,service or atmosphere we had an amazing 1st anniversary dinner in Meats&hoping to visit again sooner!😍😍
