An absolutely disappointing experience at this restaurant on a Friday night with my friends. I’ve been here for 5-6 times already and had always appreciated the quality of food every time. I made a booking again recently, not knowing the restaurant now only offers all-you-can-eat (or “semi-buffet”) and you can only eat for 2 hours. This is why when the waiter asked us to settle the bill and leave in 15 mins we were so shocked and unprepared. It took them more than 15 mins to refill the chicken pot for us, and another 20 mins for the hotpot. If we were under the impression that we needed to leave within 2 hours we would have ordered the refill and everything else much earlier. It was ridiculous to ask us to finish everything within 15 mins. I would have appreciated if they at the very least reminded us 30 mins in advance.
This restaurant is offering buffet, but their service couldn’t catch up with the speed that is expected of a buffet. What makes matters worse, the seafood was not fresh at all and the overall quality of food was disappointing. The buffet menu only offers 4 types of soup base but the 2 that we chose were far from flavorful. The quality was much much much better a few months ago but the price was more or less the same.
I wouldn’t come back again.
