The shop opens at 12 but by 12:10 there were only 2 tables left. I recommend coming at 12 not only to secure a table but also to enjoy their 10% discount if you leave by 1pm.I set my sight on the Mount Fuji Butterfly Pea Rice. I set my sight on the Mount Fuji Butterfly Pea Rice. I had some reservations regarding the cutlet as I and other friend have tried omnipork in the past and we all felt it was quite dry to say the least. However, I decided to try it here due to the reviews and I did not regret it. For an extra $10, you can get a soup, a starter and also dessert so I ordered the $88 meal.
While waiting for my food, I got to admire the decor of this restaurant. The ceiling was decorated as the sky with sakuras.
The flower wall background was also lovely to watch while waiting for my food.
The meal finally came and the rice as expected was arranged into a cute mount fuji shape. The Ton Yum Gung Sauce was refreshing which was only just a bit spicy to make it appetizing without it being too hot.
The best surprise was the Vegetarian Pork chop, which totally changed my impression of Omnipork. The outside was hot and crispy and even without dipping it into the sauce, its inside was moist, almost resembling a juicy cutlet.

It seems that besides omnipork, they have added some other vege ingredients to it to give that juicy taste to the dish. Totally impressed.
Their tea was fruity and floral as it is a combination of Lavender, Amaranth and Berry.

I hope there are other events at Mikiki soon so I have a reason to come here again.
