To celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, I made a lunch reservation for 12pm on this hotel buffet. I did some research on Openrice and found that they generated quite a number of good reviews without bursting a hole in the wallet. Even though the selection of food was not considered many, but the taste more than makes up for it.They have few choices on their drink selection and all were refillable. When it comes to the main dish, snail meat and beef were very delicious. As for the drunken chicken, I could not taste much wine in it even though the meat was juicy.
There was not much choice at the desserts corner. Luckily, there was a machine for us to make pancakes and waffles. Ice cream is of Haagen-Dazs brand and there were 4 flavours for us to choose from. The most surprising part is that there is popcorn machine.
As it was my girlfriend’s birthday, I asked for a small request from the pastry chef to decorate some wordings on the plate. Both chocolate and tiramisu cake was very nice as I could really taste the strong cocoa. We have tried many buffets but for the price paid, this hotel buffet was considered the most value for money.
