Although the sign on the streets doesn't look like much, we were pleasantly surprised when we entered the restaurant upstairs. Nicely furnished with bright lights and comfortable seats, the petite restaurant had a casual atmosphere. Many of the Japanese seafood rice here are quite a bargain, for example these two assorted sashimi rice and roasted salmon rice. The sashimi/salmon served was plentiful and it was also very fresh.

Another bargain choice, and perhaps my favourite dish of the night. The dumpling skin was crunchy and crisply fried, and I really loved the stuffing, as it included my favourite chicken gristle and also some spring onions.
