My friend and I went to Marriot Lobby Lounge bar to have a drink last nite. When I read the menu, honestly, that was a SHOCK to me.The price on wine is unreasonably high. The cheapest wine is HK$98 per glass and the average is $120-$160 per glass. The quality is just normal daily drinking wine: Beringer, Cold Stream, Wither Hill etc.I always have drinks with friend in hotels or bars. Marriot Lobby Lounge is the most expensive I have ever seen. Compare with Ritz Carlton, Island Shangrila Los

I always have drinks with friend in hotels or bars. Marriot Lobby Lounge is the most expensive I have ever seen. Compare with Ritz Carlton, Island Shangrila Losbter bar, this bar charge 40% more.
I can't help but ask the waiter for the reason....he said," We have better service!"
Better service?!!! The napkin they served to me is covered by "Face Powder" or "Foundation". I am sure the ladies used this napkin to wip her face. THIS IS REALLY DISDUSTING. But this "GOOD" service Marriot didn't even wash the napking. How on earth can this classified as "Better service" than Ritz Carlton, Shangrila??!! When I ask for an exchange, the waiter just took the napkin away and never return a clean napkin to me!
Even worst, they don't even offer glass of water. The sofa is over the depreciation period....too old and uncomfortable.
I just order the "Cheapest" glass of wine, which cost $98 + 10% and a glass of cocktail, $90 + 10%.
Consider the amount of money we paid, it definitely OVER PRICED and doesn't deserve such a horrible service.
I would recommend any 5 stars or 6 stars hotel than this Marriot. They definitely charged less with better service, better music, better atmospher and better view.
