This was our first visit to Garrett's and, while not cheap, the popcorn was delicious.Garrett's has been around (in Chicago) since 1949. They make old fashioned kettle corn in a variety of flavours. The classic flavours are CaramelCrisp and CheeseCorn. We got a bag of the signature Chicago Mix. This is half each of the two aforementioned flavours. So, we put one of each in our mouths and were surprised and pleased at the same time. You would imagine that cheese and caramel wouldn't work.

So, we put one of each in our mouths and were surprised and pleased at the same time. You would imagine that cheese and caramel wouldn't work. How wrong you would be. We were hooked after that first bite and we polished off the bag pretty fast. We ate it while watching a movie in the cinema in the IFC. Next time we check out a movie, we will go to Garrett's again.
Aside from this wacky combination, they also do the two seperately, plain, buttery, Almond, Cashew and Macadamia as well.
