I decided to come here for lunch as I noticed it had some positive reviews and I'm always up for a new lunch spot in Causeway Bay.The restaurant serves "continental cuisine". At least that's what it said on the entrance. Which is a round about way of saying "European food". Decor of the place was dark and dated. The place was full but I was still able to get a table. I was greeted by a waiter who poured me a glass of hot water and told me he'd get me a menu.
Five minutes later, no menu was given to me. Finally, after trying to get the waiter's attention, I was given a menu followed by apologies all over. The lunch set is choice of main, salad, daily soup and coffee or tea. I chose a pan fried halibut fillet with mash and spicy cherry tomato coulis ($130). I asked what the daily soup was and apparently, it wasn't just one soup but a choice of three (cream of brocolli, onion and lentil soup). I chose onion soup because it's the name of the restaurant, right?
