Shabu Shabu has always been my favourite and comfort food especially in winter. This time I tried out the newly opened taisyou - a trendy and well-decorated eatery. A wide range of soup base options were available including chicken, pork, kombu and spicy miso - the one I opt for. Everyone has their own “pot” to choose your favourite flavour. I was offered to get a taste of the Australian Waygu set, rich in beef flavour though not the tenderest I’ve had. Personally, I would go for the US SRF Wagy

The range of choices is not limited to soup, but condiments, vegetables, other hotpot ingredients, drinks and desserts.
The automatic drink vendor allows nearly 20 options of beverages, including a sparkling lemon tea I found very nice!
Also worth mentioning is that, it’s the first time for me see a waffle maker in a hotpot shop, which I used to make a yum and crispy DIY waffle, sprinkled with choco sauce and funfetti. A fun way to wrap up the meal after hotpot!
