It was my return visit after many years. The eatery looks like it had been renovated, and decorated like a restaurant more than a monastery canteen that their name would suggested.The set lunches have two prices, I believe the different is mainly the sitting area; extra few bucks will get you in the VIP room, where most the tourists sat. The portions were adequate, and with free refill of soup, it filled me up. The taste and variety of the dishes were ok, no surprises, nothing special either.

It was similar to any vegetarian restaurants in the city. Services were prompt and cordially.
I really missed the old days when they served authentic vegetarian food in a monastery canteen setting.
