BOM cuisine is definitely not an eye-catching restaurant, and you can't really notice it when you pass by. As a local residential district like Cheung Sha Wan, you cannot imagine there is a Portuguese restaurant. BOM serves both set dinner, ranging from 2 courses to 4 courses, and a la carte at night. A table of 2 ordered the followings:1. Iberio ham aged for 48 months - not a big portion, but the ham is delicious and rich, the best description is 油香四溢 2. Clams in white wine sauce- the cl
1. Iberio ham aged for 48 months
- not a big portion, but the ham is delicious and rich, the best description is 油香四溢
2. Clams in white wine sauce
- the clams are fat and fresh, a perfect match with white wine
3. Deep fried bacalhau ball
- a must eat item in Portuguese cuisine. There are 5 balls in one standard order. Although it is deep fried, the inner remains moist.
4. Oyster
- by following the restaurant's instagram and Facebook, you can enjoy buy-two-get-one-free. As my friend is an oyster lover, we ordered 6 in total. Oysters are fresh, and up to standard with its price
5. Set dinner with sucking pig as main course and foie gras as starter
- comparing with a la carte, the set dinner is only $20 more. Hence, we accepted the waiter's advice on ordering set dinner.
- foie gras is well cooked, up to standard and not over cooked
- sucking pig with rice, sucking pig is good with crispy skin, whilst the rice is bland. But that's ok for us to focus on the sucking pig.
6. Dessert - earl grey cake with black currant mousse and chocolate cake with passion fruit
- as a foodie, you will never miss the dessert
- the waiter recommends us to have the earl grey cake first. The earl grey cake is not too sweet but you can taste earl grey. You will like it even if you are not a fan of dessert. Chocolate cake with passion fruit tastes good as well, rich but not too sweet.
With its quality and service, the price is considered to be reasonable. I will definitely come again.
