A good friend from overseas is in Hong Kong and we planned to have a small gathering at Red on Jan 1st 4pm. I've called Red 2 days prior to our gathering and they confirmed my booking.Imagine how disappointing I was to receive a call from them on Jan 1st 12:30am (just 1/2 hour after New year count down), and they told me that their bar only opens at 5:30pm!! They explained that their junior staff made a mistake and was confused with the bar's opening hours! And they suggested that maybe I can
Imagine how disappointing I was to receive a call from them on Jan 1st 12:30am (just 1/2 hour after New year count down), and they told me that their bar only opens at 5:30pm!! They explained that their junior staff made a mistake and was confused with the bar's opening hours! And they suggested that maybe I can postpone the gathering to 5:30pm.
There are 2 points that I found them ridiculous:
1) Why would they call customers in the middle of the night?
2) All staffs should know the opening hours, isn't this the simpliest thing of all?
In the end we have found another place for our gathering, and I am not planning to go to Red ever again.
