This place is popular. I mean, seriously ... popular. Doesn't matter if it's weekend or weekday, there's always a crowd. When in Causeway Bay and you want dessert, most people go here first to see if they can get a seat. The later the evening, the longer the queues. It's so popular, my friends just refer to it as "the famous place" when any of us mention dessert and Causeway Bay. I've been here so many times, I can't even count.The place is bright and green and white in color. Menu is in English
The place is bright and green and white in color. Menu is in English and Chinese with photos for reference. They have everything from tofu pudding to icy desserts to warm Chinese dessert soups. I think I've ordered pretty much everything and hasn't been disappointed yet.
Boyfriend and I went here on Sunday and it was pretty early. In fact, it was 6 PM and there was no one waiting in line. This is the first time we've ever come this early! And there was only one thing we wanted. One of their icy treats because it was so hot outside we didn't feel like eating actual dinner.
Boyfriend ordered icy longan with sago. The longan was nice and sweet yet refreshing and light. It was also nice and icy.
I ordered icy strawberry with sago. It came with a tiny bowl of extra sago. I don't know why. But I poured it in anyways. The strawberry flavor was intense and didn't seem artificial. The ice was perfectly crunchy. The sago was nice and crunchy.
Though you really can't sit for very long when there is a big crowd waiting outside, I will always be back. The desserts are definitely the best in Causeway Bay.
