The Continental is a restaurant located on the rooftop of the Pacific Place mall. Run by the Upper House, the restaurant serves dinner for hotel guests as well as walk-in diners. The menu that I tried was the Upper House 13th Anniversary Set Dinner:
1️⃣ Appetizer
Fresh Burrata, Crushed Butternut Squash
Rillette of Smoked Japanese Mackerel
2️⃣ Entrée
Grilled Pluma of Iberico Pork
Poached Australian Barramundi
3️⃣ Dessert
‘Pecan Pie’ Crème Caramel
Warm Vanilla Rice Pudding and Poached Pear
Overall portions were generous. Both appetizers were refreshing. For main course we particularly loved the Grilled Pluma of Iberico Pork. It was grilled appropriately on the outside while the inside was tender and juicy. Side ingredients formed a harmonious combination with the protein. All elements in the dish were nicely executed.
The pecan crème caramel tasted rich and creamy. A pleasant full stop to the meal.
