Every time we visit Cheung Chau, we go to Delicious Seafood Restaurant for the drunken pigeon.Very strong shaoxing wine flavor, yet doesn't not overwhelm the gamey flavor of the pigeon meat. Would be even better if they make it less salty, because personally I prefer less salt intake, but this is a typical local eatery flavor. This time we also ordered a 油盐水赖尿虾 poached mantis shrimps in salt water to have something to bite on slowly while enjoying our wine. Surprisingly all of the mantis shrimps

Very strong shaoxing wine flavor, yet doesn't not overwhelm the gamey flavor of the pigeon meat. Would be even better if they make it less salty, because personally I prefer less salt intake, but this is a typical local eatery flavor.

This time we also ordered a 油盐水赖尿虾 poached mantis shrimps in salt water to have something to bite on slowly while enjoying our wine. Surprisingly all of the mantis shrimps were bearing shrimp roe! So delicious.
